Telephone call to Daventry SS again. Still not got the social worker, and had to leave yet another message for him to contact me.

Looks like I am hitting the brick walls today.

Time to get my files out, and when DGD goes to sleep, see if I can find my Paper for the printer, and start to give myself hard copies of things.
But I really need to cut out my mothers Handbag and get started on that, or the wedding wll be upon us and I will not have done it.

Biggest of Mooloo has sent me a text message saying that she may go part time to work, I havesaid she must sort out her finances first. But hopefully now that she has the telephone number of the social worker she will start to take control of that side of things for me. Lets hope.

I do not think there is anything else that I can do at the moment.?

    Try CAB again I suppose.

Did you manage to find a chain handle for your mum's bag?

Floss, she decided she wants a cloth one, so that's easy to do. If I get the chance!.
Cant have sewing out when DGD is about. She attacks the pins etc etc so its too dangerous. If I wasnt so tired at night I would sew then!.

Social worker just rang me back, asked my opinion of the situation at Twin2's and said thanks for that, and was gone.!
He may pop in to see them today if he has time.!.

Me I am going to change DGD's nappy as there is a funny smell again! and then try and get her to go for that sleep.

Maybe next time anyone asks that question you could say "Oh I'm not a professional, I can't make a judgement of what their situation is, you need to see for yourself"

Your right, I did tell him that I found it awkward as they are my family, and my grandchildren, but of course thats not really good enough,.

just Put DGD down to sleep, I hope, and having a cup of tea. First since breakfast. Then I will go and get the cutting board out, if she settles. Start to do something that I want to do.

Please don't put anyone's email address, personal or professional, on the boards.

Alas its one daughter and one grandchild. For me it is two daughters and now 3 children. (Where I hope it stops!).
You know I was wondering only the other day whether the question of long-term contraception had been addressed with the twins ... Not that I'm suggesting it as another thing for you to sort out, I just wondered ...

Now I think that DGD may have gone to sleep and so I can go and find my sewing thngs. Fingers crossed.

As mentioned before. Twin1 has an implant that lasts 3 years. So we are ok for a while longer. Feb next year.

Twin2 wouldnt do it. But has to talk to her Doctor at the 6 week check up. So lets hope they persuade her better this time.

Me, I am not allowed a say as it would be interfering with thier human rights! I had it all before they even had children. I was not allowed to choose their contraception, or even sit with the doctors when it was originally disgussed. I tried very hard to get this sorted out. Before any children came along. !

My hands have been tied since they became 16. Yet when it all goes wrong then its put back on my doorstep!.

None of that surprises me, and of course there's a balance to be struck ...
