For some reason we seem to find the strength to cope in situations that just seem so impossible (I've been in a few myself). You are doing a great job, carry on, it won't go on forever. x0

Oh god, what next.
Got to go, twin2's baby has had an upset stomach, and they are still at the doctors, since just after the meeting. Now they want me to take them to the hospital in Banbury. So thats my dinner missed, and after spending the last hour trying to get the fire to work, iI ahve to go out!
I am not sure whats wrong with the baby, but I better go.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hope babe is ok xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.

I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Mooloo, you are coping so well. I just wanted to say about the prepayment meter, that if you are on certain benefits, you can ask whoever the supplier is, for a Social Tarrif. It's usually equivalent to their monthly direct debit tarrif price. With BG it's called Essentials, I'm sure with other suppiers you'll get the info from their websites.

ETA sorry, I posted too soon, hope the baby is OK.It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0 -
Mooloo - I hope the baby is fine and that you get home not too late tonight - you sound like you are very tired after your day today. Hugs to you.

Baby is OK. Allowed to go home. Doctor not worried, and said that the GP was being over cautious, as they seem to do, when a family have Social Workers! he gave me his secretary's number, and even his beeper number, if we think that things change, but he didnt think it was going to be necessary. He is going to write to the health visitor and tell her they were happy with baby.
So I can finally relax.
And go to bed. I am so tired, and so sore. My neck is very bad and I cannot turn my head to the left properly now, nor lift my left arm more than a few inches.
Not good.
On the good side, the social worker that was doing the letter has sent it to me from her home, via email. So tomorrow I can print it off and take it to the council.
Now I really must get some sleep.
Thanks everyone for all the best wishes and good vibes, they obviously helped.
DGS had lost 3oz but thats neither here nor there. As long as he doesnt loose anymore, and continues to feed.
So on that note, I am off. Goodnight all xWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
really good news re baby - lets hope he keeps feeding. I guess you cant blame GP being over cautious. Good that you have letter for housing - lets hope it can get sorted quickly. Hope you have a quieter day today xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
