DGD is back. She was fast asleep, and still feeling a bit tired. Been a long day for her, and in the car for a few hours, each way.
No idea about what the outcome is going to be, the social worker was friendly enough and chatty, but tells me that twins flat is a "dump". So it has gone down hill quickly again.
I am tired.
My back and arm are in the "burning zone", so I will have to have my heatpads on. Thank goodness I have two. (Did have 3 but burnt a few holes in one and need to recover it!)
My soap nuts sample has arrived. so I wll have a go at that in the next wash.
Still may make the Gloop, but have to source myself a few containers for it first.!
Well as I am getting nowhere on the funding side. I think the next thing is to start to declutter and to see if I can get anything for a few of my bits and pieces. Never have sold on the auction sites etc. Only ever bought, dispite aiming to do it must be 2 years ago now! Scared I suppose. Silly really as it looks like its the best way to go about things.
Had a no spend day so thats a bonus!
Didnt have to top up the petrol as I thought I would, but will have to tomorrow as I am due to go to Northampton to get Twin1. She has broken her glasses and needs to go to Spec shop tomorrow+not sure if I am to go with her, or get her afterwards.
Anyway now we have two weeks to wait until Social Services get thier report and decide the next stage of DGD/s care. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Not sure what to say but am thinking of you, and hope everything gets sorted properly soon. At least you will know where you are once the assesment is made and will be able to make permanent arrangements over benefits etc.
Sounds like twin 1 will not be able to cope if her flat has gotten so bad again , but good that social worker was more chatty

Least this worker seems a little bit more human! Have told them all along that she needs daily support, but there is no such thing available. I would pay for a cleaner for her if I was rich! That would solve some of it. Have a daily maid, ha ha.
I am hoping that the luck will turn a bit better soon. But this morning it was another blow. What was the point of telling me to apply for that benefit if I wasnt entitled to it in the first place, ? Just a waste of my time, energy and efforts! not to mention the paperwork at the otherend too.
I really think the government is all wrong, but hey, who am I to say.
I just am not one of those people living on benefits and having it all, that we hear about. It is definitely not an incentive to me to stay off work, If i wasnt ill, I would be trying to get work. Well even though I am ill, I am always looking, just dont find the right thing to do. Hence investigating the teaching sewing, again.?
But today I am feeling very sore, the pain is all over my shoulders and left arm, right the way down towards the sciatic nerve! When that kicks off in bed tonight, (as it usually does) I will be in a pickle!!
Still no sign of DS today. His Connexions person is coming tomorrow. So thats not good.
time for tea. xxWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
DGD has gone to bed, hopefully she will go to sleep soon. I am exhausted.
Found a few choccys in the cupboard that I had forgotten about, and although its early, I am having a few, and a glass of wine. then I shall have an early night.
Perhaps tomorrow will be a bit better. Or my attitude to it anyway.
Just found my bankcard down the side of the armchair:eek: Must have dropped it down the side when I checked my bank balance on line last night.! Also found DGD's missing toothebrush. (She has two).
Think I will have to check down the side of the sofa when I get up. wonder what I will find down there? When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
I am so sorry you are still having lots of problems. Have a look at this site and see if anyone can help you sort out what you can actually claim.

I did register and pay to be with these people a couple of years ago. But cant find my details now. Tried to rejoin but there is an error appearing.! Will try again later.
DS came home later last night. Good job he had a key as I was all locked up.
The family he has been staying with had brought him back. so his moped is still in Oxford. But he is here for the connexions man. Be back later, DGD needs a nappy change. When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Hi Mooloo,
Hope you doing ok. Dont forget about cuppa when you have time.I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Hi Mooloo,

Hi, havent forgotten. Will give you a PM and get the details. Twin1 has let me down on coming over today. She has broken her glasses and needed to go and get them fixed. So I may have to go and get her tomorrow morning. So will aim to be in your direction tomorrow? But we will have to see. My family seem to be very unpredictable at the moment.!:T:oWhen I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Well I am hoping to be able to do some sewing today. Still struggling with my problems. Have twin1 here to look after DGD while I do try to sew a bit later.
Once I get some housework done.
DS packed yet another bag of stuff and disappeared back to Oxford. It is clear that he is not interested in going back to college and or trying for another apprenticeship. He didnt care that it would make £75 a week difference to the household income, and £30 in his pocket. There is no sign of him being able to pay me back any of the money he owes me.
I am upset that he rushed out of the door so fast yesterday. He even left the clothes he had bothered to put through the washingmachine and tumbledrier. (So more urgent costs at my expense!).
Biggest of mooloo is going to have DGD for me tomorrow night, so I can go to Oxford and relax Saturday night.
I have to take twin1 back to Northampton tomorrow morning. Although I know she will be asking to go back today as soon as we have had lunch! She will have had several texts by then and her so called friends will be trying to persuade her to go back.! but I am not prepared to drive her today.
I did far too much driving yesterday, as the major accident on the A43 meant I had to do a large detour around windy roads, and drive for about 3 hours instead of 2.
Right better attack the washing up! I couldnt do it yesterday and there is a mountain of dishes in the kitchen that wont wash themselves!.When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.0 -
Yes my DD was stuck on the bus trying to get to college for 4 hours!
Hope you get some sewing done today xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
