Just had a day with my family. This afternoon I went to see the new baby, and was with DS, twins 1 and 2, DGD, DGS and new DGS!. Then this evening had biggest of Mooloo's, and her BF for dinner, with DS, Twin1 and DGD. So a full house. It felt like a "normal" life today.
Have taken some photos but they are not brilliant. Hope to download what I did tomorrow and see if I can get a few pictures on here.
I will look at the website tomorrow. Have had a quick look at the bandana bibs and think I will try to get a print done tomorrow. if there is enough ink in the printer. Havent used it for a while, will have to dig it out, its hidden in a stool downstairs!.
Now I am exhausted and going to go to sleep. I hope.
But its been the best day I have had for a while. Better then Christmas as we were all ill then!

  • I love the petal bib! It is the cutest thing ever. I'd have brought loads of those for my daughter as she was a dribbler and always lived in her bibs. x

Ah, thats so cute." I will have to make some. But not tonight, I am ready for an early night. I hope that things will settle down soon, and I will be able to sew till my hearts content.

I have still a lot of fabrics I can use, so I would not be spending much if i did start to make these sort of things. I just must now make sure i make the time, as obviously they would be best made in multiples.

Thanks so much for all the leads. I really am useless at finding things on the internet.
    :D

Well I practically slept the night through. Only had to get up once. As Mum was here didnt have to listen out for DGD. Although she actually slept the clock around too!.
DS is planning on going to Oxford today, so I must make sure he leaves me enough kindling chopped.
I will be taking Twin1 back to her place in Northampton this afternoon. Will be getting her to sort out some of DGD's clothes for me first. As we need to put those that are too small away, and those that are too big, in an accessable area but not inthe main little set of drawers that we have. And search for the socks? Where do the socks go? We had lots of new socks over Christmas and I couldnt find any of them yesterday. Had to put tights on her,?
This morning is the only freetime I will have, to do around the home etc, while twin1 is here. Then its back into the fulltime granny mode for the weekend.
My BF is planning to come up on Saturday afternoon, which will be nice.

We had leeks and parsley from the garden last night, so I was pleased that they were not wasted. It has also got me thinking about what I want to grow for the garden. (Presuming I will be able to keep the cottage and garden),

    Time to get on.

If you click on the link thats in there somewhere it leads you to a picture of the other two grandchildren. DGD who lives with me, and DGD the big brother of the new baby.
Sorry its a terrible picture of me up there! But I knew I was looking a bit of a mess lately. Exhausted to be truthful!

he seems to be a lovely contented little boy, fingers crossed he stays that way!. His big brother was a nightmare. But shhhh dont tell him

  • He's gorgeous Mooloo! DGD too. Lucky you. And if you don't mind me saying so, you don't look anywhere near as exhausted or browbeaten as your posts make you sound!
