There is a free version at http://www.tightvnc.com/

Or a paid version at http://www.realvnc.com/

The Enterprise Edition at realvnc suggests higher security, worth considering if for a business.
Guess what I'll be exploring for the rest of today.
Thanks so much for the hand holding, I just like to be absolutely sure I've got the right end of the stick when I follow suggestions.:D

Download CrossLoop to both computers, no need to register. Play video here for demo. Its free.

TBH, I would probably go with this suggestion. I hadn't heard of Crossloop before but it looks easier. It still runs a VNC engine though :D

I use crossloop and would recommend it. It will cost you nought to down load it and have a look.

    Hi everyone,

Just thought I would update my thread:-)

I have just had a visit to my Dad to help more ....the last few months have been a nightmare with him having very intermittent access to the internet..

He has had a couple of visits from PC Support Group
    2 new modems from Virgin
and 1 very irrate and frustrated daughter:-(
(Not sure how big his phone bill will be, PC Support are 0844)

Anyway..Monday I succumbed and returned the tower to Comet...after being on phone with HP for over an hour!!!
Comet say that as it is now nearly 6 months old it has to be REPAIRED???
Dad has only had use for about 1 month??

So now we will have to wait for approx 2 weeks to see what HP find is wrong!!

Thanks again to everyone who has helped.
PC Support Group set up remote access for me which I hope will help in the future:-)

But I will still come here first:-))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

    Thanks again
    Suzanne
