NO, just the email to say my bid was confirmed at £50.01 and I was the highest bidder at that point. Which is how I can't understand what is going on, as surely by sending that from their system, they are accepting that I have bid that amount? But what I don't undertsand is how the item was won by someone with a lower bid than the one I placed if the seller did not cancel it, or ebay did not cancel it, both of which claim they did not. If the email I received was a spam then how would it know the exact amount I typed in?? I don't understand, but will find out what happened.
Okay, quick way to find out- go to item page, if you see that there has been a cancelled bid then there has and if you don't then there hasn't.
Even if they did though they are allowed to.
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine

why would i be winding anyone up about this? and why shouldn't i spend my money if i want and can afford to? there is only so much money that you can spend when you have an estimated 6 months remaining to live. thats all i wish to say on the matter also.

OMG if this is a genuine post then I have to say surely you have higher hopes and dreams for your remaining time with family and friends than worrying about a pair of second hand shoes!

This is an odd shoe tale worthy of Cinderella, I can see a new panto coming on.....

    "I won the auction"

    "Oh no you didn't"

    "Oh yes I did"

I'm surprised none of the parties involved can see the ridiculousness of this situation. Surely it can't be long before the National Press pick up on it, headlines to include:
    "Ebay buyer has no sole".

    "Ebay put the boot in"

"Second hand shoe repairers required, "cobblers" says Ebay seller"
    .

So you've got 6 months left to live and you're starting a court case over a pair of shoes.... wow the phrase lifes too short really doesn't cover it :rotfl: This is a wind up, it has to be.

Oh.My.God. It gets worse. If you *really* are bi polar, take mippy's advice and seek help. Otherwise, you are clearly demonstrating yourself to be delusional in a general nature with aspirations of grandeur. Off you trot, go on, trot, trot, no one can take you in the least bit seriously with the nature of these posts.
