why would i be winding anyone up about this? and why shouldn't i spend my money if i want and can afford to? there is only so much money that you can spend when you have an estimated 6 months remaining to live. thats all i wish to say on the matter also.

You need more help than any lawyer can give you.
    :)
  • You've gone from someone making a fuss over nothing, to someone who is clearly mentally ill

you should be spending your money on medical help, not legal advice

It will take longer than that to get to any court case.

letter before action - 7 days, then the court will have to process it, the turnaround used to be set at a target of 10 working days but it depends which court, then it may go straight to a preliminary hearing or have the time to file defence....

The target used to be forty WORKING days between being told to list something for hearing and the hearing itself but I never heard of a court managing it. It may have improved, however.

Also, this is not the easiest place to post on the forum, some of the normal exchanges here are robust to say the least. Perhaps you will be better if you ignore this from now on. Please take care of yourself.

I'm thinking Digg, Reddit, Deli.cio.us, Stumbleupon, Furl, Facebook, - we can get this thread worldwide overnight. It certainly has the "you couldn't make it up" potential...

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p
  • how is it silly? as i've said before, i have never lied or deceived anyone, i have my problems same as everyone else, and i have never threatened anyone. everything i have shared is genuine, and i am happy to go ahead with my decided course of action, i just joined your forum because i think it is wrong of the lot of you to go ahead and judge people so quickly when you don't know the whole story. now you know everything from my point of view, i shan't post anymore on this thread as i can see i'm not being taken seriously and am not welcome, but i didn't see how it was ok for a bunch of people to be ganging up on me without a chance to reply. i've replied. maybe my reasoning seems odd to some of you, perhaps some of you agree with me, that's your perogative and i'm not really bothered either way, i have had my say and thanks to the very few of you who have responded in an adult manner.

Good luck with your court case

you're going to need all the luck in the world to win that!

And what is she going to issue proceedings FOR?! She's got to think of that before she can even begin to write a letter of claim.

Now, this is either someone who does have real issues, or someone playing silly beggars.

Either way - perhaps I'm cruel - but I am finding it mildly entertaining.

After reading your point of view my judgement is the same or more weighted on the side of the poor op who had the missfortune to be contacted by you. Please go now and speak to a friend carer or family member who will help you.

I have seen all sorts. The court cannot stop someone issuing proceedings unless they have been declared a vexatious litigant and even then they can still apply to a judge to issue.

Brutally, even someone with clear mental health problems can issue, it is not up to the court staff to make the decision to issue or not. It will have to be thrown out by a judge if it is incorrect, and of course it will have cost a fortune by then.

To be fair, it is the OP that I feel sorry for, as it is horrible to be threatened with legal action before all ideas have been worked out, even if you are not vulnerable.
