Guess you're more Sam Vines than Sybil then, I'm afraid:beer:0 -

Since I thtink this is all a bit of a wind up I will venture further off topic by suggesting that cheap shoes would surely be a requirement for anyone who keeps dragons?Guess you're more Sam Vines than Sybil then, I'm afraid:beer:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. what started as an unfortunate event involving some worn shoes, has now developed into a game of medical top trumps !
If I wasn't sure you weren't joking, I'd tell you to kindly !!!! off

It is the wigs that run up the bills - and not all of the places that sell wigs on ebay are, well, traditional. I always thought that TV stood for television.
Ankh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -

With all respect, perhaps you need to see your doctor or care team and not involve yourself with the stress of a legal case.0 -
I agree I'm sure it is all a joke, OP could this be someone you know playing a trick on you?
Honestly, threatening a seller with the law for refusing to sell when they were not the winning bidder on an auction, oh please. I've not heard anything so funny for ages. :rotfl:
As for the various medical disorders (or syndromes) being bandied around, that's when I decided this was all a joke, before those statements I was prepared to think it was real.
Soolin - I thought it was a joke too, because I was flabbergasted. I have had some pretty crap things happen and even then did not wish to involve solicitors! Sadly I have the eBay messages to say otherwise. I think if someoen I knew was going to play a trick on me it would involve nothing more scary than a plastic spider.
I'd also rather keep this thread, should it continue, away from the topic of mental health as that is not what was under discussion.0 -

I'd be careful about buying 'un WORN knickers' too....0 -

You do realise exactly how big ebay is don't you? So you are going to sue this multi million pound company for not letting you win a pair of shoes and are willing to pay out several thousands of pounds to do this?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
