The highest bidder wanted them for her wedding, hence my being very keen to sort this out!
There really wasn't anything to sort out though was there, highest bidder won and paid and should have had their goods shipped as soon as possible.

I had originally decided that it would be a bad idea to correspond with you on this thread, but I will say only this: earlier this week when your messages got to me I had a panic attack at work and almost went home - I stayed only because I had a lot of external clients relying on me to get my work done for them. Please consider that when you have a problem with someone or something then your actions do have an effect on others - while you may be without an item you wanted to win, a buyer was concerned that she lost out on the shoes she wanted for her wedding day; I lost a morning's work, which meant that a very big advertiser needed to push back their deadline to get their ad out, and as my health is somewhat precarious, I try and avoid things like this!0 -

If my solicitor decides that writing to ebay rather than the seller is the best way to go, so be it. I am not a lawyer, which is why I pay one, instead of offering half-baked legal advice based on my opinion.
It's a pair of second hand shoes !!!!!!!!! You didn't lose any money, you are not out of pocket? Seriously, how much "distress" can this cause you?
My personal advice to you is to keep away well from eBay - if you get a lawyer involved over not winning a pair of shoes there is MUCH MUCH worse out there that could cause you distress.
And if losing out on a pair of shoes is the worse thing that could happen to you, then I am truly envious of the cushy and sheltered life that you must lead.
Seriously woman - get a grip of reality.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0 -
These shoes must be really something!0

Does anyone remember the well worn shoes thread?

I hope those of you with bipolar affective disorder are keeping to your illness management plans. I am concerned that the image of people with manic-depression (the same condition) being portrayed here is that they are constantly emotionally labile and therefore unreliable. When sufferers take their medication, in most cases the illness is well-controlled. and they do not need to be 'handled with care'. What with Kerry Katona's antics, I think people with bipolar disorder are becoming very misrepresented.0

Haha, I love the well-worn shoes thread! I wish I'd kept my manky old sandals. My boss's cycling trainers sit next to my desk - I keep telling him he should list them as 'gay int' and see how they sell0
