Beenie - we haven't told anyone either (except OH had to tell his boss to get time off for the scan this week...but he's been sworn to secrecy - he works in sales so time off is quite hard to come by). I actually plan on telling my parents this weekend - it has to be over the phone as they live back in the US! We're going to see OH's family in a couple of weeks, so we'll give the big news then. I'll prolly tell my work after my parents know (just b/c I think it's only polite they be the 1st to know!)top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

Bear - it is a good investment if you're planning on having more - definitely! I sometimes could kick myself for freecycling ours, but then these things happen.MSE mum of DS(7), and DS(4) (and 2 adult DCs as well!)DFW Long haul supporters No 210:snow_grin Christmas 2013 is coming soon!!! :xmastree:0

GISI - on the movement issue I've been having a lot going on in my tummy from week 19, just wasn't sure to start with if it was just gas or not but now I get so much movement I'm quite sure it's noogle. My older sis didn't feel anything definite until week 22 but her placenta is on the front of her tummy so this would have prevented her feeling much.
I am now 20 weeks and I started getting kicked and prodded at around 19 weeks for definite, can actually see my stomach move and DH has felt it already. Didn't really get the fluttering thing, or if I did it felt just the same as my bowels doing what they have been doing since I got the BFP. Had my 20 week scan today and looks like the ferret is a girl ferret (I secretly thought it was a girl, but now can extend the clothes purchases and should have much more choice).
I think I should maybe add myself to the EDD list......have to find it first....0 -
We used cloth nappies previously, but had freecycled them all last year, as (due to health problems) we didn't think we'd be able to have another baby. Our council does have a nappy scheme (£35 reimbursed if you buy £50 worth of cloth nappies), but I think we're just going to stick with disposable, after much debating back and forth on it. Might have gone with cloth again if we were looking at having more babies in a few years, but we're not.
Worcester council pulled this offer last month (due to limiting their spending) as I was looking into it too, so best check with Gloucester council as to whether this is also the case- very annoying as spent £100 on bum genius nappies just as they cancelled the offer, grr!0 -
Congratsssss your tummy will show by 20 weeks if your nayhting like me.. I'm still getting in some size 8/10 with the aid of an elastic band ha ha
x
I can still get into all my 8/10 trousers, but yes I need a hairband for the jeans that aren't stretchy and a safety pin for my work trousers (can do the buttons up but is less comfy when sitting for a long time). I don't think I look pregnant yet to strangers, just look like I am less skinnny than normal.....might get a bump soon though.0 -
