She went to drop a glass jar into the recycling box (covered, with holes in the top for different types of recycling) and I yelled out, NO! That's the WRONG HOLE!!

The three housemates in the room almost passed out laughing. The boy was not so amused.

I work in a school...myself and the network manager were in the disabled loo, trying to heat up a damaged iPhone under the handdryer to remove the digitiser unit.

After about 15 minutes, it was decided "ah, break time.". Walked out...into a staff room full of people staring at us and laughing..

Never quite lived it down yet.

I was having such a crap day as well - thank you to everyone (especially the OP) for this fantastic thread.

Some of the comments have caused a few heads to turn in my direction at work while I've emitted snorts of laughter between coffee.

This has been a great thread, very entertaining.
I know when my daughter was 14, her reactions would have been just as outraged if she had ever caught us at it.
She's 19 now and still calls us disgusting ( jokingly - I hope!) if we even get in the bath together she tells us we're too old - I shocked her once by saying that sex gets better with age and I hoped she has fabulous sex too when she's over 40 - that shut her up!
When she asked me why on earth I had an Anne summers catalogue I told her for the same reason she had one probably.
She can't hear us at night because her tv is on so loud it would drown out anything. We also save the good stuff until she is out of the house anyway. She did come home early one night and almost catch us on the landing, I had to get up off my knees pretty quickly!
I've told her that when she goes to Uni, her bedroom is being turned into a sex den, complete with swing and door cuffs:rotfl:. Have you seen the price of those sex swings? Not very MSE are they??:p

Daughter needs to realise, she was the one out of order here and needs to get over it

We were always alarmingly open with our kids, they asked a question and got an honest answer appropriate for their ages at the time.

Son came home with girlfriend when he was 17/18 ish and was often seen in the kitchen/lounge kissing and groping even when his younger sis or we were in the room watching TV, it was a bit annoying really at times more so for his sis than us, but one evening he was copping a mittful on the setee again and me and wife just stood up started kissing and groping, he nearly died of embarassment, his sis knew what we were playing at and fell about laughing.
We talked about it the next day and his behaviour was much better.
