DS who is 4 caught us at it about 11 at night, he just walked in to find us on the bed, a quick rearranging of covers and smiles at him. He just wanted to ask to goto the toilet.
Next morning we found him jumping on the bed and told him to stop that incase it got broken and that we could not afford a new bed, so he'd have to sleep in a broken bed. To which his reply was I am only jumping on the bed like Mummy was jumping on you on the bed last night.

A few weeks earlier OH was moaning a little loudly and DS heard. Apparently he asked OH what was the noise while going to school the following morning. She replied that I was tickling her.

Now this is all very fine, however OH had a huge shock when going to school the other day and talking with his teacher, as it transpires he has a close relationship with teacher who then took great glee in giggling at all these "tickling and jumping on bed" situations that DS had told her. OH was blushing like anything later that day when she told me. I just nearly wet myself laughing instead.

Back to OP, glad it's all sorting it's self out and that DD has at least started to communicate again, communication in any relationship is key imo. I have certainly enjoyed reading this thread and all the replies. Made me realise along with OH that it's not the end of the world when the offspring hear or see something different.

I would stand outside her room making rude noises and shouting, Poke my spleen!. But that's just me. .

When we were a good bit younger we did something like this with our neighbour. We had a very prudish neighbour,(not much older than us) who had heard us throught the bedroom walls. She took me aside and said "you know we don't do anything when the girls are at home,we wait till they go to my mum's".I was realy amused and a bit peeved but just smiled. However for the next few nights we stood right next to the wall and simulated very raunchy sex.We were choking trying to stifle the giggles.
She never spoke for a while and never mentioned it again but we ended up living next to each other for 26 years so she knew the score and did'nt bother us about that particular issue again.

I think they do them in white. Or maybe I'm thinking of Cadburys fingers?
