Daughter caught us having sex....

Our bed is so comfy, we bought it last winter for £1200 it only squeaks when we are a bit enthusiastic, we have shoved four teddies between headboard and wall so that doesn't wake anyone, We locked the wheels so the bed doesn't move as that was a previous problem, but when he thrusts and my body moves upwards in response to his thrusts bed makes a slight squeak if that makes sense.Signature removed for peace of mind0

DD asked us last night if we still had sex (she is 10 &1/2 and we are trying to encourage her not to be shy about asking questions)
When I said of course, even old people do it when they are in love, she said she had only wondered because she has never seen condoms on the shopping list, and did we sneak off and buy them in secret?:rotfl:
Bless her cotton socks, it's good to know she thinks you ALWAYS need condoms to have sex!Member of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

She didn't have to listen, lol, she stood outside the bedroom door so she could hear!!I let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
have had such a laugh with this thread! Power to the Parents I say!!
Just to chip in my bit - I was driving my three children some years ago, my son was about 8 I think, and he piped up from the back "mum, What's sex?" I thought, this was a conversation for a) another time when I wasn't concentrating so hard on driving, and b) a conversation he could have with his dad...:o so I huffed and puffed a bit and said 'erm, in what context?' as it did appear to have been a question out of the blue.
"this form for the race I'm going to do... it says sex - m or f" - "ah, you're an m!!"Bern :j0 -

Best mention sex..... only this morning.. my grandad came around for me to check out Car Insurance quotes.. so I managed to save him £100 a year with LV... anyways... whilst we are in here I offered a cup of tea and we started to walk through to where my little girl was.... but I could hear a buzzing noise getting louder.... my stomach flipped over with nerves..... I just knew she had a sex toy from somewhere and I could see her pushing it into the rug........................... I felt faint and a bit sick and rushed ahead to ask her what she was doing but she was 'brushing the rug' with her electric toothbrush:o:o:o
I needed 3 sugars in my tea after that - my grandad is not far off 80
And I bet he's still more than capable.
You'd probably have been more embarrassed,he'll have seen it all before.0 -

I love the fact she feels she can ask you guys things like that and that sex and condoms always go together, brilliant! :T0 -

Exactly and although we do have to feel for her at such a tender age I also think she can be taught a very important message here.
She's old enough to know that the world does not revolve around her and that we are all entitled to our privacy.
She's just acting like a stroppy teenager and has learned a lesson in life.
Let her chew over her thoughts for a few days.
In a few years time she'll laugh about it.0
