It's a funny old world but one thing's for sure teenagers don't like to think anyone but themselves are doing it.
I'm sure your daughter will calm down,she's just got a lot of raw emotion at the moment and I do believe that jealousy is part of it because her parents sex lives excludes her.
We've always been lucky in that we can talk about anything in our family.My girls and granchildren know they can ask me anything and I'll answer them.I'm 54 and have an 18 year old grand-daughter and she knows full well grandma and grandpa have a very happy sex life.She even jokes to be careful in case at my age I break something.
Best thing you can do is talk to your daughter,it's amazing what it'll achieve.

I have laughed my head off at this thread !

I remember walking in on my folks when i was about 5 or 6 and was told they were having a special cuddle and was taken back to my bed , Also heard them a few times when a teenager .

Wont be long before our child walks in on us as you have to walk through our room to get to bathroom She is only just turned 6 and I feel mean shutting our bedroom door and expecting her to use the cloakroom downstairs all by herself in the middle of the night .

I do think that the OP daughter was rude to barge in especially as she was aware of what was happeing .Understandably she was embarrassed ,who wasnt at that age. but I dont think the OP or her partner should be embarrassed or change the way they behave to suit their daughter . The family obviously are very loving and have a happy and fun home .

My 14 yr old has walked in on us in the act, a yr ago. We smoothed it out, but it must have affected him, as he sometimes threatens to tell our younger son what 'mum and dad get up to at night'. Of course, I counter-threaten him with loss of privelidges etc, but it supprises me that he remembers. I think he understands that 'mummies and daddies have secret lives - else they wouldn't be mummies and daddies' now.

I had a new bed delivered today, it has wheels (why??) and we have a wooden floor, My mum n Dad were here to help get it up the stairs and my Dad made a joke about taking a trip around the room if we didn't get something for the wheels I wasn't embarrassed I think its a bit late for that seeing as I'm about to pop with my 2nd child
