I think your daughter's embarrassment has got the better of her. She didn't know what to do and overreacted!

However, I totally agree with the people who have said "do not apologise". She should understand that she can't start making demands about what you and her husband do in private.

I walked in on my parents when I was 16 (and had a friend with me too) - they were in the front room with the telly on (god knows what they were watching). It was soooooo embarrassing, but I got over it and actually it did remind me that they are people too and also that it is their house and they can pretty much do what they wanted.

Call her bluff, tell her she can go to her nan's.

Your daughter cannot go to live with her Nan unless you consent. If your mum says yes, you say No end of story.She would need to go to court to take her away from you.
Imagine the Judges face when told its because you made love with your husband. Go on imagine it and have a good giggle. As for your OH saying no sex til she leaves home, have your tried the garden shed, the car in the garage, send the daughter to nans for a weekend or maybe Siberia, go on have a giggle. Sadly my man is not around anymore but if he were I know what I would be doing.

Dd home , didn't say a word to me on journey home and has locked herself in her bedroom???? Her Little brother (11) is constantly making kissing noises at her door, and me , well i'm hiding in kitchen making dinner?( not needed for 2 hrs, its ham salad, i'll cut tomatos for 2hrs), have told Ds to remove himself to shower, have asked dh to hurry home as his darlings have missed him, he asked if i wanted to meet him in the woods later, the world has gone mad, back to my tomatos.

I don't get it - I don't know any older people who are not having sex!
I know for sure my MIL and FIL do (it's normal to joke about it in the family, they are so open about these things that it's unbeliavable! May be because my FIL is from medical background. Once he rung me to make sure I put a cream on when I had to go for laser cell remover after having a smear!!)
And I know for sure my mother still likes sex...

At her age I was well aware of my parents being 'at it' and if they were a little loud then it was the good ol' pillow over the head and tv on trick:D
Failing that it was a knock on their bedroom door and tell them to keep the noise down while trying not to laugh/throw up:rotfl:

I wouldn't worry, she's obviously not the 1st and definitely won't be the last teenager to have this happen, just make light of the situation IF your dd chooses to mention it ever again:rotfl:
