You know when you get a dead body and the police chalk around it....well when I see that shape on my sheets I wash them!lol
ONLY KIDDING.....7 to 10 days here! Bath towels thought HAVE to be used once and washed! xxYou may walk and you may run
You leave your footprints all around the sun
And every time the storm and the soul wars come
You just keep on walking0 -
Do mine very 4-5 days, my baby's every 2-3 days depending on what has gone on in her bed, and my eldest every week. Just love clean sheets and cant stop myself. Would do them daily if I could be bothered!0

Glad, you should join the Flylady thread, you're doing so much thread decluttering today :rotfl:
I'll add this to the existing thread to keep ideas together.

I don't wash ours nearly as often as i should so am going to go and strip the bed - the bedding can wait till later in the week to be washed (lots of spare sets) but the duvet and pillow protectors we only have one set of so will have to be washed and dried in one day.
We are moving out of our house in a week and a half while the kitchen is being fitted (have an investment flat in the same town) so will take the opportunity to get both our duvets cleaned and all the pillows.
Question: Do you wash new bedding before you put it on the bed?0 -
All our beds are done every 7-10 days depending on the weather and whether the kids have cleaned their rooms filling the washing basket higher than everest. I also iron them all too as soon as they have come in off the line. The matress and pillow protectors probably get done once a month.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

I do because I don't like how thick and crispy the linen feels when it's brand-new out of the packet but I accept that this could be a plus-point to others. I'm the same with new clothes: they just don't feel like mine until they've been laundered first.0

We used to practice the top sheet to bottom when I was a child.
I wash our fitted sheet and pillowcases every second week and turn the duvet over so the 'dirty' side is up, in the summer we just have a bottom sheet, top sheet and a light quilt on the bed, so the sheets and pillowcases get washed once every two weeks.
I always open the bed right up and open the window when we get up and mostly do not remake the bed until after lunch.......plenty of time for the bed to air.
We do shower night and morning though..............Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.0 -

I cannot wear clothes unless they have been washed first either. Make me feel all itchy.
Bedding - every two weeks, unless it is very hot in summer when I go back to weekly.
