good news first - well done to OH for getting a job

i'm really sorry it's come to this. i have to agree with CMD. your OH isn't being unsupportive - it's his first day. i'm sure your boss wouldn't be too happy if it was him being asked for the 1st day off. i know your OH is thinking of you by saying not to go back but like you said you won't be entitled to anything if you quit plus if you need the money then you need the money end of. can you look for something to tide you over til christmas? i don't think it'll do your health or mindset any good staying there.

Isn't it terrible how some supposedly 'right on' people can actually just be bullies and selfish???

Your boss allowed you to confide in him (with your life coaching) and when you did confide in something that could make you happy, he has turned his back on you and is sacking you?

I agree with Starnac - it might be a good idea to take a temp job anywhere just to get out of that environment. I think it's disgusting that a man who is supposed to be into holistic treatments is treating a staff member like that. He ought to be ashamed of himself.

Your right to get out of there CAFC. I think a man like that has the potential to do more harm than good to your self-esteem and mental health.

    Big hugs to you xxx

I personally think its just a reaction to what has happened with CAFC saying about moving away. I am sure deep down he doesn't mean to do it at all if that makes sense.

I agree this behaviour is about CAFC mooting going away, but he is acting strangely, weirdly possessive.

Its not on to slag off CAFC OH for anyt reason, thats just not the business of the employer. I agree this lifecoaching this is quite off. Life coaching is meant to be empowering, his behaviour seems SO th eopposite.

Definately couldn't agree more, I am sure this is not what he "practices" within his business

its very weird, i seem to be getting the exaact opposite of what our practice members get.
I just think the relationship has reached the point of being completely unsalvagable. I'm writing my 4 week notice letter tomorrow, so basically i will not go back there after we go to nyc.
I am tempted to write an explanation of how I feel, and mention that he has neglected to adher to the T&C of my employment which entitle me to 2 days off full pay for bereavement.
DH just says to give a basic 4 line letter, giving my notice and date of termination, and be done with it.

    What do you all think?
