so you def moving then or just need to change jobs. you said you were hoping to stay til christmas. do you have plans for after that then?

sorry if i worried anyone, but i had gone to bed LOL

Obviously it was a bit of a shock him saying we'd end things sooner, mainly because when i spoke to him it was more of a solid idea that i was seriously considering and then explained my feelings etc.... whereas now even though i knew i would end up committing to it, it seems like he committed to it happening as well so im being signed out as it were..... in a way, and although its hard to accept, he does have something to protect and i can see why in what we do its important to have people who are totally committed to the cause. My point was i dont think its fair to other people to be serving them with a half measure of what i know im capable of! And really i see that as a mature outlook on it.
I know personally hes hurt, he has put a lot of time effort energy and love into helping me, and maybe hes hurt because he cant be the support that i need.

the money situation is a major worry. i have a phone consult set up wit payplan on friday so i can explain a bit about it then, and then we've just got to keep everything crossed that dh gets into the fire service.....

plans after christmas were to move to my sisters house and share with them for a short while and then move on find our own little place, pay off the debts and let me live a little more, and maybe just get a part time job doing something that doesnt require a total emotional commitment...

You never know, this might be the start of a new phase in your life. Your job didn't sound very sustainable long term anyway. Do you know when you finish up?

no idea...when he feels like it i guess.....

i dont really know whats going to go on,we spoke briefly today about when i was looking at moving from the cottage...... and i said xmas so maybe he'll re-think and was just being reactionary....

i kinda see it as a positive, way to move forward and make my life something more than getting up at 5am everyday and working till 7pm!!!

i'm glad you see it as a positive. in the grand scheme of things it is as you get to move on and make something of your life as you say. first step and all that

Afternoon all,

Ive just snuck on using work computer during my lunch hour....

Today is currently going ok, and will soo be over with and then i do a half day tomorrow. There is an interview tomorrow for someone who could potentially replace me, although her interview was set up before i spoke to boss anyway, but still, could work. I always thought I would stay till they had someone else trained up to my standard, I wouldnt just give 4 weeks and then leave them in the lurch, not just for the people i work with, but mostly for the people who are served....
Boss still hasnt said much to me about the whole thing so I dont really know if hes choosing not to, or avoiding, or wants some time etc....

But after everything that was said I am now pretty sure that I am making a positive decision and dh and I can work on what we really want to do in life, and some goals that we have, rather than just living each day out with some motivation for any achievement. Its weird because thats what my boss teaches to our practice members but yet i guess like you all said, this is perhaps more personal...

This weekend Ive got a few things planned, im going rock climbing on saturday, for a couple of hours with a few people from work, and then sunday and monday are my own....what to do what to do? LOL
There is plenty that needs doing in our house, like cleaning wise etc, and tomorrow evening i need to speak to payplan and get the ball rolling there.....
