old stains out of carpets? old stubborn stains out of clothes? RIGHT that's it! I'm off down to Tesco to try and get some of this!
I'm already a Baking soda and Soda crystals and vinegar convert (and the OH even asked if he could use my soda crystals to clean out smelly bin and then after it dried he stole a pot of my baking soda to stop it smelling so bad again! cheeky !!!!!!! :D) but if this can get the stubbor stains out of my carpets and clothes then I'll definitely get some!
As for bathrooms I use CilitBang on stubborn stuff and various other cleaners and vinegar depending on what I'm cleaning...

    Good - that's the carefully worked-out dilution I used too:D

What do you use the tea tree oil for? Is it the anti-bacterial action?

Yup, that and it leaves a nice smell behind too.

As far as the bath goes, I find neat Starclen works a lot better than Stardrops. I just put some on a sponge, wipe it and then rinse.
It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.

Cheers, thanks for this. Will try the TT oil myself too, and will look out for Starclen, although it seems a bit harder to get hold of

I found yet another use for Stardrops which is a bit wierd!! I dyed my hair yesterday and I have very long hair. I always end up with a few blobs on my neck and shoulders which take a couple of days to fade. Well yesterday I had a shower afterwards using Stardrops as shower gel and it got rid of the stains straight away. Just make sure you thoroughly rinse it off your skin afterwards.

  • I've heard of a few people using Stardrops on their carpet and wonered how they use it? I have an oil stain which I've got most of it up by sprinkling talc on it (as recommended on here!) but there's still a bit that won't come up so thought I'd try Stardrops! How would I use it on a carpet, dilute? Neat?

Nothing to do with the great stardrops. But I got oil out of my brand new beige carpet by spraying a small amount of WD40 on kitchen towel and dabbing at the stain. You repeat with clean bits of towel till it's gone then wipe with a damp cloth.

I was astounded by the result. Couldn't beleive it came out so easily without a trace.

i used it on my cream rug and a lovely cat sick (tuna!) stain came up brilliantly! I wiped up as much as i could, dilluted stardrops slightly, and rubbed gently with a sponge. When it dried I ran the hoover over it and the stain was gone!
