I'm keen to know the answer to this too, although I'll be using a vileda mop - not the bucket type, the one that holds the liquid on the handle and where you can take the cloth off and replace/wash it.KittyKate wrote:One question though, can I use it on laminate floors? I'm sure I can but what concentration (mop&bucket?)"He who asks questions cannot avoid the answers"0 -
nicki wrote:I use stardrops on laundry all the time to remove stains. I have discovered though that it wouldn't get chocolate (or is it tomato sauce Johanne
) stains out of clothing after it had been washed in biological powder. Also had problems with suncream discolouration but I tried starclean and it worked as far as I can tell
I have used Stardrops to remove chocolate stains from a sofa cushion, and they came out a treat.0 -

... although looking at this thread, it looks as though I won't be disappointed!
I'm going to be buying a new vax wet cleaner (upright), although I don't think I'll be using stardrops in it, just in case it causes a problem.
I haven't actually used the stardrops in the Vax itself (although I understand others have done this successfully).
I used mine to spot clean areas of carpet ( I find children really useful for this job:p ) and the vax then sort of spread it around the carpet, if you see what I mean. I found the carpet came up really clean.0 -
Get this - yesterday I was wlaking through Sheffield and pounched on by one of those ladies that comes at you with a clipboard as king if I could help them with some market research. I said yes as I had a bit of time on my hands, and she took me into a hotel room with all these other 'volunteers'. To cut a long story short they were asking for opinion on something called Cillit Bang Grease and Floor Cleaner - and she was asking me all these questions about all the other products that are on the market. Her face was a picture when I played my trump card by saying the only thing that we use in our house is Stardrops - period. :rotfl:
And I got a free boots voucher to boot:j0 -
kittykate - yes you can use it diluted on laminate floor. I emailed them this question & this was their response ! hth :j0

Have used stardrops on many stains, and it's never affected the colour of anything. Don't know if it will work on white underarm stains, but it's worth a try.You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0
