Thanks Churchmouse for the info.
Suppose the only way I'm really going to find out is to give it a go.
Will try it on an older shirt I was going to throw out, to see if it works.
(Dons on white white lab coat and protective glasses!!!....).
Will let you all know the results but give me a few days....

Yes it works a treat. I put the same dosage of stardrops as your meant to use of the vax cleaner into the dispenser then add a splash of fabric conditioner. I swear it works better than the Vax stuff thats super expensive.0 -

Must admit I've read this thread and I'm still confused. Finally found a bottle of stardrops last night so the question is what do I use it neat on and what do I dilute it for? Also what should I be using my microfibre cloth for? Should I use a wet one in the same way as I use a sponge or do I just use it dry
Sorry if I sound a bit simple but if you don't ask....You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -
dilute some stardrops in hot water, put ya microfibre cloth into it,wring out and away ya go
or you could use a damp cloth and a solution of stardrops / water in a spray bottle
HTH
oh and i only use stardrops neat on a stain on an item of clothing or a stain on the worktop etc
also add a squirt to the washing powder drawer in each clothes wash0 -
I just put a squirt into an old spray bottle with about a half-litre of water, spray, wipe with microfibre cloth. and that's it.0

Can any old stylers tell me if there is a thread which summarises all the different uses for stardrops (as per vinegar) eg washing machine, dishwasher etc as I've got my first bottle and want to make full use of it

Hi cresbella,
We have a very long thread about Stardrops so I'll merge your thread with it. The posts are listed in date order so you'll need to read from the beginning to see all the replies.

I'm new to all this, but just been seeing lots of references to Stardrops. Now I've finally worked out what it is, can anyone tell me if you can buy Stardrops in the South? Can't say I've ever seen it in my area, but perhaps that's because I've never been looking for it. I'm near Basingstoke in Hampshire:j Every day in every way, learning to money save:j0
