I use stardrops on laundry all the time to remove stains. I have discovered though that it wouldn't get chocolate (or is it tomato sauce Johanne
) stains out of clothing after it had been washed in biological powder. Also had problems with suncream discolouration but I tried starclean and it worked as far as I can tell
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Ok why am i dissapointed with my stardrops for cleaning my bathroom.
And before anyone has a go, its fantastic for cleaning the kitchen, my carpets and everything else, just not my bathroom.
I have previously uesd Flash bathroom spray and its finally run out, so i turned to the trusty stardrops.
Ive used it neat, diluted and squirted, with a cloth, with a brush, with a scourer (on the tiles) and yes it looks lovely after ive finished, but come 1 shower later the bath looks grimey, or the sink looks dirty after 1 hand wash. It never did before when i used the flash, it would last about 5 days before it looked like it does after 1 day with stardrops.
HELP please, what am i doing wrong.0 -

Your not doing anything wrong in my opinion, I've tried stardrops and agree its no use what so ever at cleaning the bath, you might just as well put your feet up and have a glass of wine :rotfl:
Flash might not be OS but its the best there is, and I love the smell
Stardrops is brill for everything else though. :T0 -

Hi, does the tea tree oil work better than just stardrops, as you can see from the above post. I'm not impressed with stardrops as a bath cleaner, unless we're really manky that is0 -

Good - that's the carefully worked-out dilution I used too:D
What do you use the tea tree oil for? Is it the anti-bacterial action?0 -

Someone asked this question yesterday. I said I was sure it'd be fine and later someone else posted to say it worked better than the official stuff he'd been using!! So go for it!You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0 -
stardrops does the biz again, was in cleaning for an old lady next door just took hoover, stardrops and microfibre cloth, well thought i should have taken jif for the sinks and the doors were mucky, but no neat star drops and all was gleaming0
