  • To help spread the word about the virtues of Green Metropolis, they have now introduced e-vouchers.

    Great idea for Christmas presents.

    Hi Kat,

I've got about 50 books listed on GM, only put them on about 4 weeks ago and have sold 2. I think one of the probs is that GM doesn't advertise and so is not that well known. I doubt I'll make much money from it but have listed the 1p Amazon books with lots of copies and also some recentish novels that were 3 for £1 in the local charity shop sale.

Sorry to hear you are having probs with Amazon - have you been able to establish why you can't have a seller account or will they not tell you? Sorry to ask what may be an annoying question so feel free to ignore it.

    Good luck

I've sold 3 books on Greenmet since listing about 50 a couple of months ago. 2 were books that had also been on Amazon for about 6 months and not sold. Am not in a rush to sell so will keep them on there, just have to remember to de-list from Amazon if I sell on GM and vice versa - got caught out already by not remembering to do that :o

Finally got round to putting some books on Green metropolis today so I thought I better search for threads with tips on on here and of course they're plenty - fingers crossed something sells - going to have a look at my amazon box in a minute and think about listing some of them too - although slightly concerned about remembering what is listed where! or rather if it sells on one to delete off the other!

I am in the middle of listing my first book on GM, it doesn't have an ISBN so I am entering details manually, it asks for date of publication, does this mean the date it was first published or when my revised copy was published?

I have a new book that, according to one of the first few pages, was first published in uk in 1954, in usa in 1958 and has been reprinted with revisions in 1963, 1969, 1977, 1987 and 1989. The book I have seems a lot more recent than that, only a couple of years old. So what do I put for the publication date?
