I wish my OH cooked he's completely useless in the kitchen....if I didn't do the cooking in our house we simply wouldn't eat....that might not be such a bad thing given our weights at the mo!!I've got a lovely sausage casserole with veggies bubbling away in my SC and hopefully no snacking later, fingers crossed x x x

... I am craving a snack right now, must wait till I get home for dinner (OH is cooking, think it's lasagne tonight). I'm going to buy myself some nice salad leaves to have with it. And that's another thing! With trying to be a good little moneysaver, I have probably cut back on healthy stuff the last few months as it is so expensive. (does anyone else do this?) But it is going to stop. I don't mind spending an extra few ££ on food every month if it's the right food and good for me (and helping me lose weight)...Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Oooh, good idea on the salad seeds taka - I had thought about getting some and then forgot! Thanks.
I had a fairly small portion of the lasagne earlier, then went for a walk for about an hour and 15 minutes (total 2 hours and 15 minutes walking today)... then came home and ate 2 slices of buttered toast! I feel really guilty, as if I undid all my good work.
I am going to post everything I eat, it will make me think twice about doing it.
Today:
2 oatcakes
200g low fat Greek yogurt
1 orange
1 apple
HM soup and 1 slice HM wheaten bread
packet of polo mints
1 chocolate (I gave in after all)
lasagne and salad (rocket and toms)
2 slices buttered toast

Tara don't beat yourself up too much - all that walking must cancel out at least some of the toast!
I think it's finally official - I actually have not a jot of will power! Come home from work today, feeling all virtuous and proud of self re: scrummy looking Strawberry Tart sitting in fridge with self's name on it. Get in a stinker of a mood with OH - for no good reason other than that I am at times a crazy B*tch - so therefor have to sabotage self by gorging on a mammoth pick n mix and pint of milk?!?!:rolleyes:
aaaaahhhhhh - at least tomorrow's a shiny new day
xx0 -
PS So that makes today's eats for me:
B: Porridge with S/Skimmed milk
L: Sandwich chicken salad, on brown breadBaked Salmon, with (v small portion of *) savoury rice and salad
S: Gargantuan pick n mix and pint of milk
XX
* V small on account of mum burning half of it and there not being much left!0 -
crapwithmoney, thanks for the pep talk and LOL at your mum burning the dinner! Don't worry about your little slip-up, I'm doing even worse. I ate another 2 chocolates, just thought I would sabotage today a bit more... feeling ill now.
I'm away to bed before I cause any more damage!
Here's to tomorrow...

OK, I promised a weigh in and here it is.
135.2lbs (just over 9st9lbs) or 61.2kg
I'm back to where I started in January.
I know some of you will say that that's an OK weight to be, but if you're 5'3" it really isn't. And it is mostly fat. I can't fit into any of my clothes and I'm at the top of my healthy BMI range, not good! If I carry on like this, I will just keep gaining weight.
I must try not to get disheartened by it, but see it as a challenge to be overcome. I am going to do the following:
Snack less and only on healthy foods
Drink more water, herbal tea, skimmed milk etc to fill me up (although does this make your tummy swell?)
Cut out chocolate altogether for the next month
Eat less during the day so that I can have a decent dinner with OH
Eat smaller portions of dinner
Ask OH to distract me in the evenings if I feel a snack attack coming on
Exercise more - cardio, stretching and weights
Walk for at least an hour and a half every single day (weekends included!)
Make a list of reasons why I am doing this

Morning all!
Tara I love your guidelines! I'll maybe steal a few of them! I actually done really good yesterday and stuck to my menu! Didn't quite manage my 2L of water because I am in a job where I can't go to the loo alot, I managed about 1L and 2 black coffees. I just wanted to write here aswell that I am setting a mini challenge for myself, my weight as of monday was 14st11.1 and I would like to get down to 14st3 by 20th July that gives me 4 WI days to lose 8.1lbs. Its my 22nd birthday on the 21st so I'd like to be under the 200lb mark:D
Menu for today :
B : 5 tiny pork links called wee willy winkies (LOL) only 109 calories, potato scone, tinned tomatos
L : 2 x brown bread, 2 slices ham, cheese triangle, banana
D : 6 mini kievs, green beans, brussells
S : yog or hot choc
Tara I like cereal bars or dried fruit as snacks. If im having dried fruit I go to asda or tesco at the baking aisle and they sell wee bags of prunes, raisins, dried cherrys, apples etc in individual bags.

Morning all!!
No WI for me this morning - quite proud of myself for resisting!
After a couple of days off work - and long-lies to make the most of the privelege, I didn't sleep too well last night and am absolutely shattered today! So happy that the sun's shining bright though!
Been a bit naughty so far - didn't have any brekkie, and am heading out for lunch to mark me leaving my FT job on Friday - I'll try be as good as I can though!
Hope you're all having a good day!
xx0 -
miss-nadine, steal away!
And thanks for the snack ideas, I will try them. Well done on sticking to your meal plan for yesterday, can you rub some of your willpower off on me please?
crapwithmoney, I hope you've had breakfast by now!!! It will wake ypu up. I'm happy about the sun as well, I will definitely get out for a walk this evening. :j
So far today I've eaten 2 oatcakes (90 cals) and 300g of low fat Greek yogurt (about 240 cals). I am still feeling full (touch wood) and haven't touched any junk! I'm going to start climbing the stairs at work again, I injured my knee recently and haven't been able to do them but now I am feeling better. I'll aim for 20 flights today.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs
