I've had a rubbish week diet wise so going for 'stay the same' rather than weightloss - not helped by TOTM so I'm craving carbs and chocolate rather than salad LOL. I think my appetite is naturally bigger at these times so am going with the flow so to speak!

    Hi all!!
Well done DRAGON on you 4lb weight loss -whoo hoo -way to go girl!!

Had a fairly good week, but then went to pot at the weekend!! Went into town saturday with the kids, and as it was payday friday, treated them to a wimpy for lunch and i couldn't resist the brown derby! Then had HM burger and chips for tea!
Sunday was no better, took Hubby out for the day as it was father's day, and started off with McD's for brekkie, then again for lunch!! tea was a roast, but not for me i had beans on toast :(
Soooo, it's not surprising that I STD 2day!
Oh well, but i will not let it get to me - TOTM is on it's way too, so i've got a challenging week ahead of me, but i've been good so far 2day, will try and fit a swim in this week as i havent been for 2 weeks cos of family commitments, but we'll see! only one more weigh in for me to go this month so, need to lose 3lb next week if i am to lose 7lb in june!!

    xx
Hope that you all have a good week

:hello: Hello all! I weighed in yesterday and managed another 1.75lb off so I think I've managed 7lb this month so far! :j
Its not been a great week - I decided to go to some of the stuff in the Edinburgh Film Festival this year (for the 1st time ever :o) so have been sitting on my dowp (sp??) for most of this week so my exercise levels have plummeted and my meals have very much been on the go, quick things that aren't always very healthy. Oh well... only 3 films to go... :rotfl:

Woo hoo on losing the 7 pounds! Enjoy the film festival - it is only a week or two and you can get back to the exercise :D

Congratulations to those loosing a good number of pounds this month.
Not going to have time to catch up on 14 pages of post, been on holiday.

Confession time, have not been calorie counting the last couple of weeks, tried to be reasonably good (no ice creams or cream teas or deserts) but enjoyed a pint of Cornish Ale most evenings, so weight loss in the last 2 weeks is exactly zero :o

Pleased not to have gained any weight under the circumstances to be honest.
Calorie counting began again today, back on track :D

I think holidays give you an exemption! Just jump back in an get fully back on track next month (speaking of which I am away for a week next month!)

Where are you off to Dragon?

I think I have finally had my LBM, you know all those DFWs have them regarding their debts, well I have had mine with my weight!! I dragged myself round to M&S at lunchtime to try on bikinis for my hols - depressing experience!!!! I couldn't get half of them on, had to roll some of them off again (ugh) and they looked so bad, I was really horrified at the state of myself. I am so flabby and am even developing a solid fat belly (I normally only gain weight on my hips, thighs and bum so this was shocking). I got a little bit upset and it was at that moment that I said to myself (actually out loud) 'enough is enough'. Hope nobody was in the next cubicle! :rotfl:

So that was my LBM ladies! I am fed up of seeing myself like this and I'm getting fatter by the day. I have got to make major changes! binkyboo and lightisfading - thanks for the tips re eating with OH, I will put them into practice! I've just been offered a biscuit and said a firm 'No!', which is a change.

Here's hoping I have the mental strength to do this. I will break it into chunks like someone suggested earlier in the thread (coffeeholic?). Wish me luck xo

i'm still a bit bothered about wearing my bikinis on holiday, i have a tankini to cover my belly up on my bloated days but i still want to maximise my suntan potential so i will have to bare my midriff at some point! To be honest my baby belly stretch marks bother me more than the flab but it would be nice to walk round without feeling my jelly belly wobble. i only have 10 days to go though so unless a miracle occurs i don't think i'll be jetting off with a stomach like an ironing board

Off to mid Wales - we have a timeshare there http://www.macdonaldhotels.co.uk/resorts/plas-talgarth/ we have an apartment in the Mansion House which means we are attached to the bar and the restaurant LOL.

Well done on your LBM - we look forward to seeing lots less of you :rotfl:

  • Good luck Tara!!

And massive well done to all you looooooosers!! :T:j Especially you Dragon - you deserve a special mention for your steely determination!!

I weighed in a wee bit lighter this morning - but since my official WI is now Wednesday (Are you hopefully Binky?) - I'll not tempt fate by posting anything before then!

Eating-wise - I wasn't too bad over the weekend, avoided the booze which I think is my main downfall! It's not so much just the calories from the alcohol that's the problem - it's the hangover munchies the following day that do the most damage!

I need to get holiday shopping next week, so I'm gonna have a last ditch effort this week and see what I can achieve!

Tara - Well done on refusing the biccie - one of the reps in our work has just popped in with a round of Strawberry tarts for us all - but I will be strong and leave mine in it's box!! ;) I'll have a wee cup of peppermint tea instead!

Had a wee boost over the weekend, my big sis was up visiting and I haven't seen her since Christmas - I overheard her and my bro talking about much weight I've lost - they said I'm back to looking like I did was I 18 :o:D

    xx

PS Binky - are you feeling any better?
