Hi everyone. Been a while again, sorry. Hope everyone is ok. Had a quick read of the thread, lots of loses - good for you!!
Tara - hope everything works out how you want it to x.
Dragon - Thanks for keeping the thread going, you are a star. Hope your intake is still up x.
Binky - You said you can't get an NHS dentist. Where I go they do give out emergency appointments. Maybe worth a couple of phone calls to see if you can get one. Hope your mouth is feeling better soon. The thought of not being able to eat really scares me! xxx

Well, I've given up Weight Watchers!!!!!! Me and my friend too the plunge and haven't been for 3 weigh ins. Today would have been the 3rd. In June, so far, I have lost - wait for it.....................................3½lbs!!!!!
This is during the last 2 weeks(3 weigh ins) and no weight watchers. And I have saved myself £15!!! Very MSE. My friend has lost 4lbs. I'm a big girl now and can do it on my own!!!

Anyway, better get back to work! Will try to post more often, have a good day everyone.
    Taffy xxxxxxxx

    xx

Not feeling too bad - I get migraine occasionally and provided I take pain killers and go to bed quickly I can get rid of the worst of it - a bit fragile today but tracking my food again and hope for a loss on Saturday (please!!!!!!!!!!! The pain killers normally make me gain so I am hoping the good week I have had will counter balance the pain killers!)

Weigh in day today, just 1lb off but I'm happy with that and in a positive mood :) Makes 13lb total so push next week to get to that blasted stone.

Two people at work commented today that it's starting to show a little round the neck, which usually I would have got horribly embarrassed about but I thought to myself.. no.. just say thanks and smile :)

I usually have a little of what I fancy (without pointing) on weigh in night (ie, I really love pasta bake / pasta smothered in pesto, but they're both high in points), so tonight I'm having a Linda McCartney pie that's been lurking in the freezer (since I found out they were 9pts O_o), a big portion of potato wedges, and a chocolate bar.

In general, I think my outlook this time round (as opposed to every other time I've dieted) is a lot more positive and 'can-do', rather than 'i hate dieting, i'll always be fat'... and I think it's definitely helping as if I have an off day, I'm getting back on the wagon afterwards rather than wallowing in self pity :)

Swimming cossie came in the post today, which means next week I have to try and get up at 6.30 (a couple of times a week?) not a morning person LOL.
  • Oooohhhhh Well done Lightisfading!!!! :T:j And to you too Taffy - sorry I somehow missed your post yesterday - fab news that you're managing to lose and gain lbs/£'s all in the one swoop!! ;)

Lightisfading - good luck with the early rises - I can't manage them either, I've tried and failed a few times to pretend to myself that I'll get up and go to the gym in the mornings - but I never manage it! I;m sure you'll feel much better for it though - I always think it would put you in a good frame of mine for the rest of the day!

Not such a great start for me today, had my injections for going to Mexico this morning, I was so nervous I couldn't eat anything - so by the time I got to work I was so hungry and I've just tucked into a Croissant and Jam! I have a party tonight as well, and although I'm taking the car to avoid the booze there'll be lots of lovely food! I'll try be as good as I can! :A

  • Morning everyone! CWM Good to see you!

I'm felling very smug as I blew the dust off my Wii fitness coach, I managed 30 mins of cardio and 15 of yoga! And I really enjoyed it! My monthly gift has arrived so need to be good this week. Today I've had a portion of pineapple and a cup of green tea, lunch will be a tuna salad and dinner a vege chicken fillet and loads of veg. Later on in the evening i'll have a yog or and options/highlight low fat hot choc. Loads of water will be drunk and more green tea and a black coffee or 7 lol.

    Have a good day all!

  • Well done Miss_nadine!! :j A very good diet plan along with some exercise! :T

I got a Wii Fit for my birthday (last week), and haven't even cracked it open yet! I've been so ridiculously tired this week - but aunt flo's just popped in so that probably explains why! :p (So Snap Miss_nadine!! ;))

no pain yet - which is extremely odd! Fingers crossed it keeps up! If nothing else, that's one thing this dieting m'larky helps with, if I've been eating well the pain's generally not nearly as bad - anyone else find that?

    xx

Not for me (I'm on the pill, which has got rid of 50% of the pain and 95% of the flu-like tiredness I used to get!) but my friend who's dieting with me said her periods have actually got worse! As her weight kinda stopped/got rid of some of them. Not something to look forward to!

I managed to get up and go to the pool this morning.. really enjoyed it but only problem is I'm starving! Have eaten too much for lunch as a result. May have to switch back to cereal and banana from my normal yoghurt/banana!
