16 days till i go away and i'm wondering realistically how much i can lose by then. The only factor i can change is exercise because i don't think i can get my calories down anymore without starving to death! i think i will have to try for an hour gym and an hour swim each day not sure if that will be too much. Have been watching the biggest loser on itv and they seem to exercise something like 5 hours a day so surely i can manage 2 hours?
oooohhhh Binky - we can be holiday weight loss buddies! How many calories a day are you on now? You need to make sure you're eating enough if you're going to do all that - just as long as it's the right type of foods (so says the hypocrit that can never follow her own advice!! :rolleyes:)
On biggest loser they've all had medical advice, and have a full team of nutritionists and exercise guru's - us mere mortals can never compete!
Shall we weigh in 2m, and then again the day before you go away to see how close we can get to our target weight before then?

Yeah lets do that i was 10.3 on monday when i last weighed i assume i will still be that tomorrow but you never know a miracle may have happened! i'll log on with my weight in the morning and then weigh the 2 wednesdays after that. If i had an ideal target i would say 9.7 which means 10lb to lose i think that is rather over ambitious but having said that i managed to lose 3lb this week without really much effort so i would think if i work hard 5lbs might happen.
I'll be good though an aim to lose 3lb each week and then if i do manage anymore then it will be a bonus!0 -
just back from the gym, managed a whole hour today but it was boiling and i came out very red faced i must have looked very attractive! My tongue seems to be breeding ulcers at the moment, oh says its a sign i'm run down but i feel fine in myself?
breakfast today was scrambled egg and toast, lunch was minestrone soup and 1 slice of bread and dinner was jacket potato and beans. Not had much of an appetite cos everything that goes in my mouth hurts my tongue

evening all! I've came here to confess my sins lol here goes * warning rant ahead *Right here goes! Me & Weight watchers are officially OVER!!! I am soo rubbish at it! I was doing really well on my plan just eating healthy but the grass is always greener and all that! so back to the healthy eating tommorow but I will be eating slightly more than I was before but no counting cals, points etc as it drives me insane!Sorry about that all lol. Back on the wagon for me tmrw x0

It is hard doing weight watchers, unless you buy the specific products that are already pointed it means having to weigh out portions and calculate points all the time. I think both points counting and calorie counting can make you feel very restricted. Wednesdays is my family day out and sometimes i just don't eat when i'm out because i feel its safer to eat at home where i know everything will be fairly safe to eat calorie wise, which is no way to live your life!
i'm sure now you have been counting calories for a while you will have a good idea of whats good and bad and portion sizes anyway so you should be able to eat without thinking too much and still lose weight.0 -

I'm up and weighed still 10.3 and measurements are as follows:
bust 40"
chest 34" ( must have previously been 36" cos thats what size bra i wear)
waist 33" (was 34" about a month ago)
hips 40"
thigh 24" (was 25" about a month ago)
calves 15"
upper arm 12 "
I'm taking measurements too because i'm doing a lot of weights at the gym at the moment and i thought perhaps that might slow my weightloss while still changing my body shape. To be honest i will be happy with a difference in either.
not sure about todays food intake cos i'll be out most of the day so i'll update later and i'm hoping to make time to fit in gym and swim tonight sometime.0 -
Morning people! Just on my way to work and thought I'd jot down what i'm eating as it keeps me on track. Had a sneaky peak today and it was scaryyy! lol.
Binky - I agree with u 100%! The numbers were doing my head in!
B : Small box shreddies; skimmed milk; nectarine
L : 2 x brown bread; low fat cheese triangle; 2 slices of ham; banana
D : 1 Vege chicken fillet; stir fry veg; low fat yogurt
I not eating an awful lot as im making up for yesterday.

How are we all today?
Well - today's the first day, of a whole new me! Doing ok so far. Weighed in this morning Binky - but didn't quite get as far as measuring myself - if I can find a measuring tape I'll do it tonight - like you I'd be happy to see a reduction in either!
Starting stats:
Weight: 10 Stone
BMI: 22.3
Target date - 1st July (14 Days)
Target Weight - hhhhhmmmmm, I'd love to be 9stone 7Lbs, but I think that's a bit ambitious - so I'll aim for 9Stone 10Lbs
I've managed ok so far foodwise for today:
B: Lowfat Yoghurt, Strawberries/Cherries
L: (Ate out) Thai sweet potato soup + sandwich (1 slice w/meal bread, no butter with cooked ham and tomato). 2x polo mintsGrilled steak, 2 salad potatoes + Veg
Was due to have my salsa class tonight, but we're gonna skip it in favour of going to the gym, my aim is to get on the treadmill and run for as long as I can (which won't be long!) then go for a swim - so I'll report back tomorrow! :rolleyes:
