crapwithmoney, you are doing sooooo well girl, almost 2 stone off in total! How do you feel? Amazing, I bet. Tell us all about it, I need serious motivation!!!
I have had 2 chocolates, 2 oatcakes and 200g low fat Greek yogurt so far today. How am I managing to eat chocolate so early in the day????? I have salad stuff with me for lunch so that will be good, then am going to my cousin's for a BBQ later. They cook decent BBQ food though, so it won't all be sausages and burgers. I'll stick to the lean meats, fish and veg and lay off the bread!
I weighed myself this morning (I know I shouldn't) and I'm heavier than yesterday.I won't take it to heart, I'll just get on with eating well and get in plenty of exercise.
Here's to a good day for all of us.Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Binky - well done! That's fab!! Can't believe it's time for the holi-bags already! You've defo got the right attitude - hope some of it rubs off on me!
I was meant to be meeting an old work mate for lunch today, and so far she hasn't gotten back to me - I'm kind of hoping she doesn't! I know that's terrible, but it would save me money, calories and would give me time to fit in a swim! So fingers crossed!
Tara - without gloating - yeah it does actually feel pretty good!I'm quite comfortable with how I look now with my clothes on which is a major bonus! A lot of clothes I had hiding in the loft because they were too small, now fit again - and it's a nice feeling to be buying clothes 2 sizes smaller! It's taken me an age to get to this point though (since last April I think it was!) and I obviously had a lot more to lose than you to begin with! I think I'm starting to reach my body's ideal weight - I just need to work on fitting in a bit more exercise to get fitter and tone up - plus, I need to work on my mindset as well - I've spent the last 6 years thinking of myself as someone who needs to lose weight - just need to figure out how to reverse that now!
You really shouldn't be so hard on yourself - a couple of chocolates really won't kill you! OK it's not great, but if you're going to stick to your new plan for the long-term you can't deprive yourself or it just won't work!
I'm lucky that mum's doing it along with me as well though, since there's only the 2 of us in the house, we just don't keep any junk in the house! I've found it hard since I started my part-time job as they all ate rubbish all the time! Plus, at the same time my f/time job changed and I've been office based again - which means instead of popping home for lunch, I've had to buy it in - which is not only costing more, I'm also making more frequent unhealthy choices!
Anyway - enough of my ramblings! You can do it - because you have already! You just have to find the happy medium that's going to work for you!

Thanks Dragon - I'm sure you all will be! You're all been going great guns the last couple of weeks - so there's no reason that can't continue!!

Thanks for the encouragement, you are kind. I've been mixed today - eaten well but had fatty snacks on top . I've walked for about 45 minutes and am going to do some more this evening. I've also done 14 flights of stairs and am aiming to make it to 20 by the time I leave work. I'm also going to eat healthy stuff at this BBQ. And there will be no chocolate at it, which is a relief!!!
It is nice having your mum doing it too, lucky you. My OH puts temptation in my path all the time and he has a sweet tooth as well, argh! I am thinking of suggesting separate dinners at least 2 evenings a week (when he is making his most calorific stuff I can have a salad/soup) and then eating together the rest of the time. It's the only compromise I can think of.
Did your friend get in touch then, or did you manage to get some exercise in and skip the spending and eating? I remember when I used to be like that, lately I would prefer the nice lunch. That's why I'm gaining weight and you're losing it...

Nope - my friend got in touch, although we didn't meet til much later than we'd expected, so i'd already had lunch (sandwich and yoghurt at home so approx 200kcals all in) - but then I had a muffin and an iced drink thing from Starbucks when we met up!
She did pay though - so that was 1 minor bonus!
OH is just making Fajita's - and they smell scrummy! I know they're not exactly uber healthy - but don't suppose they're the worst either!
