After a good week last week I am not so happy this week - 2 pounds back on  - the only thing that has changed is I have been back on the pain medication - I am so fed up of being fat :cry:

It's not a nice feeling to put weight on when dieting but don't let this deter you though! So many people at Scottish Slimmers would lose 2lbs one week, put it on the next and then it would be off and more the next week. Depending on when you weigh yourself it can be water retention and other things so keep going and just put this week behind you :D

    Take care :D

morning all, wasn't about yesterday, i went visiting relatives which is normally a time when the diet goes out of the window. It's so much harder when your away from home and things are not on your own terms isn't it?!
food wise i didn't do too badly yesterday but probably didn't eat enough. Breakfast was a blue ribbon bar, terrible but better than the bacon or sausage sarnie i could have eaten. lunch was a turkey salad roll and a glass of orange juice. Dinnner was tuna salad with a jacket potato, a tiny bit of butter and a small squirt of light salad cream.
Today our cupboards are bare, so we need to go shopping. as i am trying to keep our budget down the next couple of weeks i am not sure what to buy yet. i think next weeks menu may be quite boring! Also going to do an hour at the gym today and try out my new programme for the first time. weigh in day tomorrow for me, i'm still feeling confident of a loss of some kind, how much? we shall see.
Chin up to all those who are struggling and remember the safest way to lose weight and keep it off is to do it gradually. If you go without things you will be more likely to give in and binge, a little of what you fancy does you good, my motto for life!

Morning all, Hope everyone doing ok - weekends are always the hardest!

I have been so good this week i can't believe it myself! Sticking to a low carb plan and have not felt hungry at all, i think its the water as i'm drinking about 1.5litres a day, and have just got used to drinking some everytime i go into the kitchen - which is a million times a day!

I can see a difference already in my waist - which is actually starting to look thinner so gonna weigh in tomorrow and see what the scales say, fingers crossed.

Gorgeous sunny day today so hoping to get out with hubby and kids and have a nice day. hope you all do too xx
  • I have sts this week which is pretty good considering I have been out for meals 3 times and had various buffets at work.

Well done to everyone staying on track! :T

Morning all, hope everyone is well. I had a lovely menu planned for today but seem to have caught DS's tummy bug, havent been sick yet but feeling very dodgy and clammy, going to have to work out what will need freezing today so it doesnt go off but I can't face opening the fridge at the mo.

On the bright side a tummy bug may boost my weight loss - every cloud :rotfl:

Will have a catch up with everyone when I'm feeling a bit more with it. x x x

  • Evening everyone!
Not been around much today, just wanted to come on with a confession! last night I made my nice healthy tea and it was disgusting! after a few mouthfulls I had to throw it away. I was in a mood after that so when o/h suggested a chinese buffet I could not refuse! I went up to the buffet twice and both times my plate was not full and I left some food. I then went up to the dessert bit and had a small slice of cheesecake and 5 profiteroles and some choc sauce! aarrrgh! Then went to tesco and got loads of healthy food for this week, came home and ate a mars bar lol. today I have been good I've had 2 x thin sausages, half a can of beans & 1 potato scone, for lunch 1 low fat cup a soup and a slice of brown bread & for dinner 6 x mini kievs with cauliflower, broccoli & sprouts. Really hoping for a sts this week but its looking unlikely.

    :(x

I am just considering doing the same thing! i tried to make a healthy version of a chicken kebab, oh insisted on his chicken being cajun but having never done it before it went rather wrong so i ended up giving him all mine and i just had the salad and bread so now i'm sat here starving and wanting something from the chippy! Going to try and think what else i can have instead though as i really don't want to cave after being so good this weekend so far
  • Binky - try to find an alternative! I was 2.3lbs down this week when I sneaky peaked and now I've ruined it:(! darned OH's!

i had half a small tin of beans and a couple of slices of toast in the end, better than a bag of chips from the chippy though so quite please with myself! just got to spend the night getting my water drank now and then a nice sleep ready for my weigh in tomorrow morning. Fingers crossed!
