we had slipped off the first page so thought i would bump us back up! I haven't posted much lately because i am trying to find a holiday for the end of this month and finding it impossible to meet all our requirements on our budget, which i though was huge!
i've had a sneaky weigh in today cos i wasn't convinced that mondays weigh in was right, i won't reveal the weight until monday in case i'm fluctuating cos of totm but i was suitably impressed with the numbers i saw!
big breakfast for me today beans on toast. I'm out with the family and gaggle of kids today so must avoid the sausage rolls am going to try and find somewhere that does soup for lunch. dinner will be salmon jackets and veg i think. still trying the 2 litres of water, am doing better but still not quite there yet.
have a good day everyone, will look forward to reading all your posts today

Morning all - off to weigh in in a min, had a sneaky weigh this morning and if I am very lucky I may have lost 1lb, but should hopefully stay the same it will teach me for going off the rails though as I have found the past 5 days really hard being extra good, much easier just to be good!

Binky - fingers crossed for Monday, I find drinking 2l of water really hard as well, I really dont enjoy it! x x

Im still gonna try and stay off the crisps though!
What about trying popcorn instead when you crave crisps? My mum had a popcorn maker that she never uses lurking in her cupboards and gave it to me. It uses no oil... just corn kernals. When its popped I add whatever flavours I fancy - cinamon is nice. Its pretty low fat/calories (far more so than crisps) as a few kernals go a long way when popped and it feels/tastes much more decedent than it actually is! :j You could try freecycle for a popcorn maker or just use a pan (though you may have to add a wee bit of oil this way and keep it moving).

Had an appointment at my local college today about going and doing my access course to maybe consider getting into nursing and I was good. I walked there, walked back and it was about 3 miles. Felt good when I got back into town to meet my OH. Walking to Asda later (about 1/3 mile away)

Not weighing myself until the end of the month as I don't want to tempt fate!!

    Hey guys

Haven't really been on t'internet much lately - trying to be more housewifey and sort out my house since i'm back on my feet, or leg! BIG UP to everyone - some fantastic losses so well done guys!

I decided to ty low carb/atkins type diet this week and see how it went. Started on Sunday and have gone from 13st 2lbs to 12st 13lbs !!!!

Weighed myself at home, and then went swimming yesterday for 30mins and used the big body fat scales there. According to those i was 12st 11lbs but it misread my height and put it at 4ft.9" when i am actually 5ft 5"!!! Had some carbs for dinner last nite as had friends over and i really wanted the same dinner so when i weighed myself again this morning i was up to 12st 13lbs... so will NOT be having too many carbs today - just my cheesey scrambled eggs.

Finding it really easy so far as I've meal planned for the whole family and know what we are all eating and can adapt mine around it, e.g. spag bol for everyone today and i will have just the mince with lots of salad and some cheese on top. Have also been using kids fork and a small plate than normal to help with portion size, have upped my housework so getting some excercise in and drinking over 1litre a day - so all in all going well.

I am determined to do it this time. Really gutted that i broke my leg when i did otherwise i know that by now i would have lost loads - but never mind, that's life eh!
I have less than 6 weeks til family wedding so am aiming to be 12stone by then - or possibly 11stone something if i work really hard. Will be trying to go swimming 3-4 times a week as my main excercise and walking when possible.

off to have some lunch now - salmon salad yum yum xx

    Hi everyone
Yesterday I had a lie-in as I'm still not feeling 100%, so had a mushroom omelette for lunch when I got up, and then did a long walk for gentle exercise, and Boyf decided we were going out for dinner so I suggested we went to a noodle bar that does fairly healthy chinese meals - had chicken with ginger and spring onions, with extra stirfried veg, so not too bad at all I think.

Had a cup of coffee for breakfast this morning (slap on wrist), going for lunch with my mum at 1 so will try to choose somewhere healthy, and having chicken with pesto, mashed potato and veg for dinner. I'll be walking around town with mum, and then I'm going out with friends tonight (but I wont be drinking) so will do lots of dancing!

    Hope you are all well
