    Todays menu from me...

B: 2 sl wholemeal Toast and fruit spread

    S: 2 tiny satsumas

L: 2 small rolls + 1 slice of Jahlsberg cheese (20g - split between the 2 rolls) + baby salad leaves, Apple, 1 tiny satsuma

    S: Apple

D: Not sure yet... It was going to be a veg curry + rice but I really don't fancy it today. It'll probably be some veggie sausages + salad (with grated carrot + baby leaves) + mixed beans

    S: Muesli bar or Yoghurt.

I know the veggie sausages aren't particularily healthy but I discovered I have 33 of the blasted things in my freezer when I did a stocktake on Sunday. :rotfl: I only ever eat them (2 or 3 a time) ~ once a month so need to crack on with using them up so I can replace them with something healthier! I think veggie sausages will be a regular feature in my meals for the next few months...

Taka - if the veggie sausages are Quorn then you should be fine! Quorn can almost be classed as a diet food after all :D

    Afternoon All

Well done all you losers and stayers!!!:j

Sorry for being awol over the weekend - I fell off the wagon a few times and needed to post something before I completely lost the plot.

CWM - thanks for your boosting comments to my earlier post. Trust me that is not how well I eat - I HAVE to try hard (and failed miserably this weekend). Oh, and I don't know if this will help but I recently read something about your body has a set weight in mind and therefore a set weight loss. Once you achieve this weight loss - your body has to re-adjust it's parameters to the new weight (which you need to stabilise at for some time) before you work your way down to the next level-if that makes sense. Maybe that will help with your plateau:confused:.

So far today I have had
B: ww bagel with philly lite and some strawberries
L: hm soup with chicken mini meatballs and banana
    S: strawberry yoghurt
D: eating at mum's so will try and be wise with my decisions.

Oooh while I'm at it must mention Boots have a yummy shapers sandwich of the month that is really filling and tasty and healthy to boot. Am going to use this when I struggle with 'lite' foods or have no time to prepare.

I have lost 2lbs in the first week. It might have been more but I had a total blowout of a weekend away, so put some of it back on then. Was good today - fruit for bfast, yoghurt and fruit for lunch, stirfry with tuna steak for dinner, but have spoilt it by having 3 Taxi bars which I had bought for the kids because they were on half price at Tesco. At least they're all gone now so I can't have any more! Well done to everyone who's lost or stayed the same xx

    hi everyone
well done to everyone who has lost or stayed the same!
I've stayed the same, which I'm a bit dissapointed about but was really expecting because of TOTM, cold, lack of motivation. Will defintely try harder this week.
Went to the gym today - tried to do the first 0-5k podcast on the treadmill and had to give up. Partly I'm generally unfit, but also still not 100% after cold. I'm going to keep trying, swimming tomorrow after exam though.
Going to buy some healthy cereal in the morning, i'm very bad for snacking through the morning instead of having a proper breakfast.
    See you all tomorrow night

  • Sayonee - Did youhave the strawberries actually on the bagel? Sounds like a very unusual combination - is it any good? :p

Buyitall - Well done on the loss!! :T

miss_nadine - totally with you on the Liver - I had it a few weeks ago in a boxed meal - and man it was awful!! I would probably only try it again maybe in restaurant or something to see if it's better cooked from fresh!

CWM - NOOOOOOOO! I often dont have breakfast until I get to my desk but do not like to leave an empty stomach. So, I often grab some raw fruit or veg first thing before I'm out the door, also helps with the 5-a-day!

Have just been to Boots for weigh-in and have gone four pounds in the wrong direction:mad: - am absolutely gutted. I havent nad much time for working out but incorp. some walking everyday and was vigilant with food. I thought it may be due to totm but thaat can only account for so much.

As tempting as it is to hit the snack barrel, I am going to use all my resolve to dust myself off and try again.

I know I shouldnt be, but am sooo upset (no crying smiley!)

Oh no Sayonee! Hopefully this is only a slight hitch and you will have a really decent weight loss next week!

Aaaawwww - big hugs to you Sayonee! Try not to be too disheartened though - I've been known to weigh 6lbs heavier when it's TOTM - but it goes as quickly as it comes! Plus - if you're weighing in boots - are you making sure you have exactly the same clothes on every week, and that it's as close as possible to the exact time of day as well? Plus - something as simple as wheter you're needing the loo - if you get what I mean - can add 1 or 2lbs on - spec if you'd already been by the time you weighed last week!

Anyway - I WILL NOT let you give in - you've come this far - so get yourself right back on the wagon - and give yourself a nice wee treat as a consolation (Ie - have a nice long bath, watch your favourite movie, paint your toe nails etc etc.......)

    xx
