Co-op Cashminder Visa Debit Card

I applied for a co-op account on the 8th of June, the cheque book came friday, and the Visa Electron came today. I was hoping for a proper Visa debit card because I want to use it for gaming/gambling sites and some don't take Electron, but it wasn't to be.

It doesn't seem they are giving out the proper debit cards yet?

Yippee thanks for the update on the visa debit cards. I think my electron card is going to be lost this weekend.

Just an update I rang above number this morning and the lovely man said a new shiny Visa Debit Card is on it's way:j:j:j I think that number is going to be very busy today;)

Mmmm, lets hope so. Just phoned the Co-op on that number. The chap said that cashminder accounts only qualify for Electron, but he would issue me with a new card and " see what happens " He hadnt heard that Debit cards are being issued. Fingers crossed!

Yeah I rang back customer services about this and the lady said they had ordered a new card and if was definately Visa Debit as no more Electron being issued since 11th June so we will get them She thinks the info just hasn't filtered through to Money Management Dept yet.....
