J & R wedding chair covers

Many thanks, im not taking any chances so ive contacted another company and have actually spoken to the owner...yipee!! Im not going to leave it there with whitelily,im going to e~mail them and ask for a full refund...fingers crossed.... but wont hold my breath!! x

I think this forum is great, I m so glad I stumbbled accross it. Its a great way to share your advise & experience from different suppliers. There is some really competative companies out there, and some you have to be really carefull of. Im getting married at Tapton Hall Sheffield, there chair covers are really wide and not a lot of chair cover companies can fit the chairs. The manager was telling us about a bride who had booked J & R chair covers (whitelily). They never came out to try the cover on the chairs before hand,on the morning of the wedding they did turn up, but unfortunatly they did'nt fit!!:( so it left the wedding party with no chair covers and a very angry bride. Sparkle n shine weddings is now one of their main suppliers and come highgly recomended by the wedding co-ordintor. My friend also used sparkle n shine weddings in January so I feel completly at ease with this company. The good thing about her ,is she works from home and if you need to make an appointment you can visit her at her address. :T

I've have been speaking to sparklenshine recently. So far they have been very efficient at replying to emails, sound very friendly and are priced quite competitively. Also, they have worked at my venue before so I at least know they know their covers fit!

I placed an order at the begining of the year with Whitelily Chair covers and was just wondering has anyone managed to get their money back I am thinking of cancelling my booking with them due to the amount of horrow stories I have read. I asked them weeks ago to send me a sample which they told me had been posted and low and behold I never received it.

Does anyone know if there is anything I can do to get my money back or shall I just cut my losses.

I would just cut my losses, there is some good companies out their. My friend booked them when they where J and R chair covers and they didnt even turn up the morning of her wedding. I wouldnt be able to rest if I had placed a booking with them.
Where are you from coz there is a few good ones in south Yorkshire.

I placed an order with them in January this year. They cancelled 3 working days before the wedding this weekend. Their reason/excuse was the previous hirer had gone on honeymoon and the hall had lost the covers. In my view no excuse, a reputable company would have endeavoured to fullfil the order which they made no attempt to do. Luckily the venue put me in touch with another company who more than went the extra mile for me despite the urgency. I would not want any bride to experience the upset this company caused to my daughter.

Hi, I used a company called ELLA EVENTS, absolutly 1st class... Just to let everyone know i did manage to obtain a FULL refund from whitelilly chair covers, it wasn,t easy.... My daughter had a fantastic wedding day, 12th june..
