  • Hi Donny.
I know this is my first posting but i've only come across this site after looking the company up for their number due to recving an email from a woman who has been ripped off, i have them booked for October and when i tried to ring them just now they cut me off, i have paid in fullas soon as i booked last year as they had a special promo of half price if you paid straight away, spoke to her over the phone aswell as i was doing it, never once have i been asked for a deposit ontop of the actual hire amount. i had to chase her up for a receipt/invoice aswell which took ages - said it was lost in the post.

Looking at the invoice tho there is no contact number or address, can you please pm me their address aswell pls as i am obviously rather worried now.

    Many thanks

    A

And me! Like I need anything else going wrong  lol.

To be fair to them though, they've responded to every call or e mail i've made/sent and I received my invoice through the post almost immediately I paid them. They also haven't contacted me to ask for a £50 holding deposit so i'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt for now. Mainly because there is no more money in the pot to pay extra for chair covers or table decorations now.

I guess if they don't come, they don't come. It's not something we were planning on having till someone pointed out how cheap the company were.

I'll update after the wedding on how it went and hopefully it might put some of your minds at rest if you have weddings after ours.

I was very close to booking with these. Thank god for google! I google every supplier and I found the threads on other sites.

A friend of mine did book, but has managed a refund. He did this by turning up in person. We aren't far from them.

I must admit I am astounded that she has carried on doing this.

She wont do anything about it. There was a Facebook group and a HUGE YAYW thread on her with people unhappy and she just got them shut down! It's really disheartening as I have also booked with her for AUGUST! When I booked there was no mention of a security deposit being required 4 weeks before the date but I know from one of the above threads that she did use this as a reason not to turn up on the day as she had not received it!

It's difficult because I was giving her the benefit of the doubt as I always wait to see how I get treated before I judge but I am stuggling to get a response from her! It's very annoying as I feel that as a new bride herself she should know how stressful things are for a bride planning her wedding!

I am keeping everything crossed that she delivers on the day but lets face it - it's not looking good!!!
:D Finally decided to start growing up when it comes to money!:j
