We have had quite a few last minute bookings from people let down by J&R Weddings. We have been thanked on several websites including You & Your Wedding. It affected us as well as our bookings at the start of the year were well below what we expected because of their unbelievable offers. We are freindly with quite a few other chair cover companies and they have all noticed a dip in bookings because of this. We have advised people to contact Sheffield Police as everyone we have helped out has only been in touch with trading standards. We won't advertise oursleves on here as I don't think its allowed but if anyone wants to get in touch just reply to this post. Regards

we have our wedding in 5 weeks and j&r are completely ignoring our attempts to contact them
we have asked for a refund now but still no contact!

Lots of decent companies on Ebay just search Chair covers, Just make sure whoever you buy off operates from a trade premises and if they allow go and see their stock before you buy.

Hi i booked with them in Febuary and paid them £100 for 100chair covers including delivery and collection, when they had the 'special offer' on. My best friends wedding is in 4 days now and i found out yesterday that they had ceased trading and what scum bags they are!!! I emailed the address on there home page and got a response from a different lady who said that the delightfull rebecca had not passed on any of the details of my booking, she did offer to 'see what she could do' but i told them to forget it and asked for a refund as i couldn't risk not having any!! Luckily i checked the website yesyerday otherwise it would have got to the wedding and we wouldn't have had any chair covers delivered!!!! I am still waiting for a response regarding my refund! I will keep you posted!!!!
