    Kernow666 doesn't actually work FOR Asda, but in an Asda store through a different company, I believe (similar to me, different SM)
  • 29, work in Investment Management in London. Basic £52k, plus potentially that again in bonuses. Not had that yet though. Hours are ok. 8:30 - 5:30.
  • 31, Customer Relations Manager at an online Gymwear store, £26K + free gym membership
  • Retired 6 months ago, was working as a chief engineer on oil tankers, was paid in Euros 5,760 per month working 3 months on 3 months off paid every month.
    By UK law if the work is outside UK waters and you visit ports outside the UK and you are more than 6 months per year out of the UK you are not liable for income tax.

    i run a small security sub contracting business from home.I pay myself a wage of £1250 pm and then take around 24k as dividence each year.

    The only benefits are that i love working for myself and that my hours can be flexible if i need them to be.

    Very busy before xmas but currently in the january quiet spell.

    Engineers Admin currently on £15K pre tax.
    Trying to retrain and paying for myself to do AAT level 2 to go in to Accountancy.

    Age 27, legal assistant, 15k but that's for 3 days/week. I consider it not bad for part time but still after tax etc come out with just over 1k per month.
  • 26, Supervisor in a popular clothing store. £7.24ph. 40 hours a week. Mon-Fri. Bank Holidays automatically part of my holiday leave unless I decide to work one and then gain an extra days holiday to take whenever.
  • 24, Receptionist in a Housing Association. £1,294.18 after tax, 35 hours a week. Mon-Fri.
