Dave, clearly you're not adding any value to this thread.
Perhaps if you were to spend the time instead frequenting some of the employment forums you'd be able to get help with seeking paid employment?0 -

Maybe if you didn't spend every working day on this forum you'd be able to get a job instead of falsely accusing people of defrauding the benefit system.Martin has asked me to tell you I'm about to cut the cheese, pull my finger.0 -

Currently employed in business strategy for county council, work three days per week (Monday to Wednesday) and net around £900 per month. I'm lucky enough to have another income stream so this keeps me out of the having to work full-time arena, happy days!'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'

I'm 28, work as an engineer offshore, will earn £43,000-£44,000 this tax year.
In previous years I have earned...
07/08...£14,000est
08/09...£17,035
09/10...£21,789
10/11...£23,865
11/12...£23,465
12/13...£42,487
Looking at that my gross income has tripled since 2007 and the money I'm earning now would have been beyond my wildest dreams even 2 years ago. That said, I don't feel that much more wealthy than I did then, it's amazing how quickly your lifestyle adjusts to account for any additional income.0 -

Good Idea!
Working in IT Management for a FTSE 100 company.
20+ years IT Experience. Salary over the last 10 years has varied between £40,000 and £60,000, depending on the role and level of responsibility i have.
Did motor trading for a couple of years full time self employed, but whilst i was getting a wage at it, it was a lot of hassle and long hours.
Still motor trading part time which brings in roughly another £5,000-£10,000 a year gross. Accountant sorts out the tax for that on a yearly basis.
Living in Northern Ireland where incomes tend to be a bit lower on average, but the standard of living is quite high due to relatively low house prices.0 -
Jill Of All Trades, working for a local business of two pubs and a hotel for the grand sum of £7 per hour. Although I do get some meals and the odd drink thrown in, I'm close to all three site so commuting is a minimum.

I'm a kennel person, on 17.5k and a pension scheme. This isn't typical earnings for kennel staff though!
The mrs is interested in doing the same (kennel work, anything with animals) but isn't too worried about the wage.
in general are any particular qualifications needed for it or just a shed load of commitment?
thanks for the help, you can PM if its easier for you.0
