Hi all - very new to this site and wish I had arrived earlier as it would have explained why I am getting no response from our dear 'friends' @ 7 Marketing.
like a lot of folk I was cold called and thought - hey, I need some of this as I had been sold PPI and did not require it, so paid over £199. that was on 7 April 2009. 2 days later I received their pack along with a receipt for my £199, which i will come back to. I sent completed forms etc back to them and surprise, surprise nothing happened. I hassled them for an update, but as previous entries on here have stated they were rude, customer care did not exist. I eventually got a letter in mid-November after 4 letters and a number of phone calls - when I could get through. On 25 Nov I received 3 separate letters stating that three claims were successful and then had to complete yet more paperwork............and so it went on. Nothing received.
Going back to the receipt for my £199 I ahve noted that although it gives the correct amount and my credit card statement confirms the deduction the receipt does not relate to my card!! Either I have an incorrect one or yet another scam.
I think that I will take advice and experience of others and do a bit of DIY - at least i can talk to myself and get an update!!

Sorry you have had these problems. I think your idea of doing if tourself is a good one and it will cost you next to nothing.

I have checked out some background info and have establised that they are using the same registered address as some of their other dubious interests based in Swansea.

But this company UK Money solutions has been registered since 2005?

UK Money Solutions whos CCL is 580388, are run by Kevin Fielder Trading as UK Money Solutions and are an established and well respected organisation, based in Birmingham, who help people get out of debt and also assist people reclaiming unfair charges and Payment Protection Insurance.

UK Money Solutions LTD were established a few months ago by some bloke called Steve davis in Swansea. If you google in depth you will uncover some dodgy businesses associated in the past with him and his business registration numbers.

Any clients currently using UK Money Solutions based in Birmingham and run by Kevin Fielder under the CCL 580388 have nothing to fear as this company are legitimate, registered with Office Of fair Trading and Ministry Of Justice and Data Protection.

I don't think the Swansea based Uk Money Solutions LTD even has a consumer credit licence

Like alot of you I have also been scammed by 7 Marketing out of £700 over the past 12 months. im at a complete loss as what to do now some of the monies i paid where on a credit card which i know i can reclaim but £400 of it was on a debit card. im so angry at these underhand people and feel stupid for believing them in the first place and the fact that they are now trading again - how can this happpen:mad:.

I don't think it matters who they are registered with TBH cause people still get ripped off. I think the regulators need to take extra care who they are allowing licences to. I am not saying on the above company as I have not heard of them but even companies that are regulated by MOJ still get away with conning people out of money and then the banks that people are paying these companies with are having to pay the price on the section 75 claims. The companies are getting away with it by closing down and doing the same again. They should not be allowed to trade/have dealings with etc in any way whatsoever in claims management ever again after this and should have all their personal assets seized to pay consumers back from their ill gotten gains.

OK. I have just spoken to the guys from UK Money Solutions in Birmingham and they are legit.

They are aware of the activities being conducted by the bunch in Swansea and told me that they have no association whatsoever with them and that the MOJ and OFT are aware of the Swansea Swindle and that they are being investigated.

My apologies to the guys in Birmingham for any misunderstanding I may have caused with my earlier post.

This looks to be a new company website with registrant from Swansea and in the name of uk money solutions BUT not the same address as 7 Marketing so maybe a different company????
