You're kidding me right?!?!?!??!?!?!?
You have to be absolutely kidding me... After all this the Ministry of Justice let them trade again.
They haven't responded to any of my letters, phone calls or emails either and neither have they refunded the amount I paid them (approx £300).
How exactly in a country that's so called 'tightly regulated' can this business still be trading?? This is an absolute disgrace.
These people should be prosecuted with the full force of the law and shown up to be the charlatans they truly are. All they do is scam people out of money.
Only two or so weeks ago they had their Authorisation Voluntarily Suspended!! Now how are we supposed to claim our money back?? I was going to request for my money back using Barclaycard but that was when they were in Administration... Now I find they are trading again I have to try and get my money back off them again no doubt.
What a charade.... I wouldn't be surprised if this is another tactic they use to delay and deceive honest, paying customers!
Apologies that I've outburst but I'm at my tether with these people... I feel so sorry for you caravannut
Hope you sort it...0 -
(Very new to this site, but can see lots of mails showing the same position as me)
Just to say, I had or have several claims going through this company and paid upfront fee of £199. The only reason this one happend is that I also chased it myself....
I have checked on the MoJ website and Consumer Advice UK (trading as 7 Marketing) are now an authorised business again, but MoJ will not return my mails reference this company.....
Suprise Suprise, I receive a phone call on 09 Feb from Consumer Advisce UK advising that one of the claims was successful (which I already new), however, nothing in the region of what I was led to beleive, upon questioning them, the man advised me it was a mistake that the licence was surrenderd (Yeahh right).
As far as I am concerned they are con artists, I have got a claim through from a company, but do I have to pay Consumser Advise as didn't they brake their T&C's when they surrenderd their licence and even when I mail and ring them, no response on the phone.....
I have now received a letter requesting there payment and stating that I accepted the offer from my creditor... but I have not accepted it as still under discussion with the company I was claiming against...
Can anyone advise if they have broken there contract and should I pay the 25% which was originally agreed back in August on a no win, no fee basis..... It is a very small amount, but I am going to do these claims myself, but worried as Consumer Advice UK are saying that I am under there T&C's....0 -
hi,well i have spoken to the moj today and they have told me that consumer advice uk(7 marketing) have definatley gone bust & are not registered with them.

I have just checked the MoJ website and it is still showing the Consumer Advice UK (7 Marketing) are still an authrised business.... Maybe they have not updated their records....
Hope you have success with your credit card reclaim, I have lost my £199 as I paid via debit card....0 -
I called up Ministry of Justice the other day to find out what was going on with 7 Marketing.
When I mentioned that I'd like to register a complaint and also I believed that their activities to be fraudulent (I also believed that they pulled money out of their failing business that should rightfully have gone back to customers). Once pressed the person from MoJ admitted that the company is currently under investigation and I can only assume it is because of the many complaints people have received... so keep pressuring people!0 -
Oh good one there jmurphy. Good to know that they are investigating.:mad:0

Hi, I received a phone call today on my mobile from a number I don't recognise, so I have googled it and the words 'claims recovery service' and this is where I have ended up. They quoted my name and address and mentioned that I have a mortgage. Therefore, my only assumption is that it has something to do with this. I will wait fro them to ring me back and find out more info.
If I don't recognise numbers, the first thing I do is Google, them it's shocking that we have to do stuff like that.
