Racist crap on these boards

Can't believe I'm agreeing with Dervish and Smoker99
You don't stop extremism by suppressing it, you stop it by engaging in the argument and pointing out how ridiculous the basic premises are. That's what was happening on the Debate HP board, and frankly the BNP were losing the argument.
Did you get Nectar points on those rose-tinted spectacles? :rolleyes:0 -
You never did answer the question about who is British, did you Smoker99?0

Quite a few pensioners don't pay tax. By the same token quite a number of illegal immigrants buy stuff and pay VAT. I say kick the grannies out personally, they are PARASITES and we could use their houses to store hundreds of VAT paying Albanians.

In that case, they'd just have to be resident and domiciled! Seriously though, would you need to hold a British passport in order to be properly classed as British?Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
Could someone please define a racist? I mean is it someone who disagrees with immigration because the country is overcrowded, and its resources drained. i.e. all the secondary schools in this area are oversubscribed and there are no school places. Please define a racist because I find it extremely offensive that the term is bandied about so easily and loosely.
Personally, to me a racist is someone who dislikes another race because of their colour/religion, not someone who disagrees with the idea of immigration because they think it bad for the country. The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best0 -
Please, folks, stop conflating immigration with racism."The state is the great fiction by which everybody seeks to live at the expense of everybody else." -- Frederic Bastiat, 1848.0

The anti-racism brigade would say that is racist because you've have mentioned a different race.:p And I don't understand it. A bit like why I don't understand why all the greens want to storm the power stations and shut them down - do they want to sit in the dark and have no hot meals ever again?:pNorthern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
Just stick to pure economy threads, racism is unprofitable0

I happened to be online and he had already PM-ed me the usual diatribe
Im interested. The use of the word "diatribe" seems to chime with the word " carp" that might have been used in its place.
Now, i have no knowledge of what was contained in that PM, what i DO know is that this board, and throughout MSE is a heavy amount of racism.
Im white british, through & through & IM sickened by it. What must someone who is not of my heritage think?
Just because you dont find it offensive, because you have experienced racism in your own life, surely you have to appreciate that so many of us do? Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast :beer:0
