I'm so pleased for you Pawpurrs - it's good to see it can happen for some people still, because I've wondered more than once! I hope you make time to celebrate in all the packing!

I've been told today we're unlikely to exchange tomorrow, even though all the questions have now been answered, and the EA doesn't want to get my hopes up for a Friday exchange. No idea how this will affect my purchase (a repossession). Given that we are apparently very close to exchange, it's possible the possessing company will be reasonable and wait, but apparently they do sometimes pull the plug. Depends on who the bank is, which we're not allowed to know apparently.

Feeling very nervous, but it's my mum's birthday so I'm just going to concentrate on that for today! I hope it doesn't all go wrong again...
Hoping to create a beautiful life for DS and I.
    As of August 2025...

Current emergency fund: £10,469 (hoping to reach £42k as a transition fund)
Current buy out/moving fund: £44,429.21 (plus equity)

I had my F&F from the house we are buying 3 weeks after our offer was accepted, but I know that our buyer hasn't received the one I filled in, 5 weeks after we accepted their offer, even though my solicitor sent it to her solicitor about 4 weeks ago.
