Good Luck to all exchanging or completing today, especially Pawpurrs, Calmspirit and Davesnave, hope all goes well.
Two weeks after we should have exchanged - completed, we are still waiting for the insurance company to sort out the hole in our roof following the lightning strike and fire! The stress is getting to me now, have both our buyers and our vendors ringing to see where we are up to with repairs. Oh Hum !!0 -
hi all i posted a fair few pages ago in this thread (i think, dont think it was part 1), and we are still on the market. Started off at £86,500 following valuations of 90-95k due to the fact we wanted to get rid and either find a nice house or move into rented while we look. We've only had 1 viewing and they seemed really keen but didnt proceed because we wouldnt put double glazing in - even though we got a quote for £2,500 and offered to reduce the price so they could afford to do it.
This morning i spoke to the EA and told her to drop the price to £79,995 which would still leave us with a bit of equity to move on so she is in the process of doing this. Short of changing EA which i dont think would help in this market, i dont know what else i can do. Any ideas?
Monica
PS hope all you who are hoping for an exchange today get it!!0
