Welcome Calmspirt, thats good news I thought for some reason your sale had fallen through. There will be a huge party here on Monday then if all three of us exchange on that day, what completion dates are we all looking at?

We want to complete on Friday 31st so that we can start shifting our plant nursery paraphenalia asap and setting it up a t'other end. The plants themselves will only go when we can be there to look after them 24/7, which will be around the 20th August. Our rent's paid here till 26th August.

We'll do half the 'normal' removal ourselves, so we bought a larger van yesterday to make that easier. We needed one anyway. Not sure how long that will take - last time it was 2 minutes up the road, and this time its 90 miles!

yes I had given up hope of this sale going through........I couldnt even bear to talk about it......but have been following this thread still !

I am still not convinced that this will happen....... such a long time has made me cynical! ..but in the last week I have had 2 people knock on my door and ask is my house still for sale (I took the sold sign down during this prolonged 'sale) and still asking prices seem to be going up here!

Oh I want completion Friday 7th! lol and have just turned round to see the film 'babe' on the TV.....just about right that!

So are we having an exchange party on Monday then???? I will be celebrating with a bottle or 7 !

I can't even bring myself to write anything on this board anymore, as I'm so disheartened. Two viewings booked for next week, both cash buyers looking for holiday homes, but I won't hold my breath. Everything I've had my eye on has gone under offer, I'm finding it very hard to stay positive.

Fingers crossed for both Dave & Pawpurrs.........can't wait to find out whereabouts you're moving to Dave.

To be honest I hadnt even thought about the next house! Like most I gave up after seeing house after house I really wanted (and could afford) go under offer. Since prices have started creeping up I dread to think what we can afford now, but I dont care - at least the family would all be together! But I'm getting ahead of myself here :rotfl:
