Congrats on exchanging Little_lilCongratulations!
This is what I hope to do (If I get an offer). I just don't know what I'm going to do with my large collection of pot plants in the interim (they won't take kindly to a storage container!)
NyimaR, how about you ask a friend to look after the plants for you? That's what I'll be doing when I am moving, as I don't want the plants getting damaged during the process of our move. My friend will happily look after them till we're settled in and can pick them up off her again...she loves gardening so doesn't mind tending to them

Thanks Az. My mum would probably look after them but the main problem will be that neither of us drive so I'd have to cajole another mate to transport them (twice)! Will have to start cozying up to the in-laws and see if they can help!0

Good idea lol, when moving, you need all the help and support you can get, so start making extra cups of tea for visitors from now on hehe!

Congratulations Little_lil!
Hope you had nice break Azkaban....
We had a viewing today on this place and I tell you i literally had to coax them into looking at the rooms.... Don't think they were remotely interested and almost wish the Solicitor hadn't wasted our time...
Think they were here 5 mins tops! Does that make it a record?!0 -
omg, just reading your posts makes me want to curl up in a ball. What a terrible load of stress and worse for those with children, the elderly, the poorly, those who absolutely have to move etc etc. I feel lucky in that it was pretty smooth for us, although it didn`t feel easy
Selling is sheer hell, the whole process and anxiety from start to completion. My thoughts and wishes are with you, keep your chin up0 -
Thanks Kittie. I must admit I'm pinning my hopes on an investor wanting our place. Of the eight flats in our block, four are now rented out and over half are rented in the block next door. As we're near Stansted Airport there are usually a lot of people looking for rental property, we just need someone who wants to buy it!0

We're in a simliar position, our flats will rent out but finding the elusive buyer is proving too difficult...0 -

I really can't decide if it's worth going to another estate agent or not. all the other flats are on with different EAs and not been sold yet, one has just had its price dropped by about £5,000. I keep hoping we've got an edge on the others because we're the only 3 bedroom one for sale, all the others are 2.0 -

The competition that we have they are like you mostly with different Solicitors, bar on who is on with the same one as us....We looked at dropping to a fixed price but apparently it makes no difference so now we are the middle priced one but we do have a huge loft for a studio flat and it's a nicer block that we're in.0 -
It didn't help talking to a work colleague yesterday who's just moved into a new house. They put their flat up last year and he said it sold in a day. A day?!0
