Better than mine too - we have had a few viewings - got told conversion rate needs to be 10% as ours was about 5%. Advised to reduce price to encourage a greater click rate (or whatever) - did this and the rate went down.....0

You just need the right person in the door just wish they'd hurry up...it's tough, we're facing a real humdinger of a dilemma as we're going to be forced to rent ours out at this rate as it's been empty for months now (both from a redecorating view and the 2 months it's been on the market)0 -

how long has it been on the market for? mine has been on since December.
if its empty have you applied for council tax exeption to at least help with your costs.
it is annoying, i thought of renting to get the money to renovate the new house as its now holding that up, but i dont really want the hassle and then getting a tenant who may not move out when required or just trash the place then get left with the bill to bring it back to market standards.
people may just be waiting until after the election to see what happens you never know

The first EA we had round to value ours told me it was all luck really, selling a house. it did make me wonder how he was justifying his 1.5% fee0

Been on since mid February, one viewing which was partly screwed up by the Solictors involved.
Didn't know about the council tax exemption thing but will check with hubby whether or not we have tried to get it exempted. My brain can't always remember these things, joy of being ill all the time...:(
We don't want to rent it out as we need any money we can get from the sale hence the reason we put it up for sale instead of renting plus the rental value isn't much.
But at the moment with having no viewings and no interest at all we are jepordising our current rental house and having to look at alternatives such as living with relatives...0 -
Here's a success story - you just need to keep at it and don't give up if you want to move!
House went on market July 2007, eventually sold August 2009, after 3 failed attempts to go through!
Went into rented house whilst looking.
Exchanged contracts on 8th April 2010, become homeowners again on 23rd April 2010!
It's taken a while but we've moved, me my wife two cats and four kids, just over 200 miles into the house that we want!
Good luck and keep at it the rest of you!0
