We had our two viewings today and both went really really well. The first couple had already been to a few viewings before ours and commented how much nicer our layout was.

The second viewer also liked the house, however he said he has another 6 to view before he makes a decesion.

Just a case of sitting tight now!

good luck- do you have your eyes set on somewhere you are moving on to?

    Thank you :)

Weve got about 5 properties saved on RM that we are interested in. Weve decided not to view until we have an offer on our place.

Cant think of nothing worse then viewing a property, falling in love with it and then seeing it sold while were waiting for a buyer!

We had our first viewers on Thursday. Dh did the viewing as i had a meeting at work, it was a couple in their 30's, she was very positive, liked all the storage space and the extra (bed) room downstairs, but he was guarded and din't give much away!

No feedback received yet and no more viewing booked

We received a reasonable offer for our house yesterday and have accepted but now we have to find a house to move into within 3mths - yikes. There is nothing in the area we wish at our price range and now we are considering increasing our budget as there are a few houses (not many) around at that price. Glad the house is sold but it will be panic stations as would prefer to move into our house rather than renting if I can help it. Time will tell no doubt.

I guess its time to stop deluding myself - the house has been on the market for ten days and not a single viewer (excluding Monday's no-show). I realise ten days isn't long, but I'd really thought we'd have had someone interested.

I even avoided weekend plans thinking there might be cleaning/viewing required. I suppose it's time to find something else to do instead:whistle:

Hope some of you are having a busier weekend!

You all seem to have different tales at the moment - good luck to everyone. I have been trying to sell for 5.5 months (half hearted argh as lost will to live) with 80 viewers and not one offer. Reduced my price again by £10k and it is now one of the cheapest 2 beds in the whole area and beyond. Honestly I thought I will take the hit (its £10k under what I paid in 2006) but at least it will sell. Well almost 12 viewings later (thats in one week!) and still nothing. Two people liked it and are considering but are still wanting to look around. One person did not want to offer as the floorboards squeak. I mean seriously. It is a 1900's conversion after all.
So general feedback continues as too small - even at the reduced rate no one is biting and now feel so miserable as I may have just left the price at this rate. Feel utterly bombarded by viewings - although agent does vast majority. Am seriously going to consider an auction or even one of those awful sell it quick places if there is no offer by June. I don't think I could actually give my flat away at the moment. And I mean it when I say it is in a nice area, 10 mins from the tube, all decorated etc. It might not be perfect but it really isn't awful. There are some dumps out there in bad areas (I have been looking with a friend who is buying) and I can't seriously see where my competition is. Have now resorted to contacting all local housing associations to see if they want to buy. Sorry for the moan but another Friday means more disruption on a Saturday and more disappoitment on Monday. And yes I do really want to sell as I want to buy a family home with my partner.

Goldbyron do you have a rightmove link? Maybe some of the experienced peeps on this thread can offer some constructive advice to help you sell?

Doh! Scrub that, I just found your link
    http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-...s&index=20

    am off for a look

Link not working now - it says Property sold or withdrawn (or new EA)?
My first reply was witty and intellectual but I lost it so you got this one instead :D

Just had feedback from one of the viewings yesterday. He liked the property but didnt like the way it was spread over three floors.

Makes me chuckle really - Looking at the floorplans on RM you can see the property is over three floors! Bit like going to view a red car and then saying you dont like red!

No more viewings booked, so hopefully hear something back from the other couple. Looking doubtful though.
