Whoops! Sorry, one of them may have been me!

You go for it Dave, just make sure we get to see some photos when you move in. I must admit I have several suspicions as to what property you may have gone for, as I'm sure I've probably looked at all you would have been interested in.

Estate agent just phoned and suggests we drop the price by £15K- it is already £40K less than the peak!!!!

Sigh - will try to nag - er - discuss with DH tonight.

Will point out it would be a 20% drop which is probably fair and see how he reacts.

    Tonight should be fun!!!

    Hello all

Well we completed on Friday and moved. The move went quick, we started loading at 9am and finished unloading at 2pm.
I have caught up on this thread and wish you all well with buying/selling. However, I am never going to buy/sell again. I will be leaving this house either in a body bag or a straight jacket (depends on who gets to me first).
I can remember being very twitchy when we got our offer from a FTB and was slowly convincing myself they were going to pull out. As chickmug said, you can usually tell fairly early on if something is going to go wrong.
I too feel like an expert on the process now, so any newbies needing advice will have the benefit of my tuppance worth.
Thank you all for the support you have given:T

Well done cindiedunkley, it's very stressful time ! Hoping you get some more viewers soon Pawpurrs. We have our first viewer tomorrow, the EA is doing our viewings & usually vets people beforehand, but he didn't book the appt so the vetting didn't get done as usual, hmmm .... Anyway, I'll keep on tidying & cleaning, & keep my fingers crossed !!

    Regards

What a lovely day! I have a viewing booked for tomorrow, not heard anything from the people who said they wanted to come back for a second viewing, or the people that were considering a low offer.

Viewers or No viewers - it's all there to cause mass confusion:confused:

Some places are multi viewed and still don't sell.

Some places have no viewers for ages then one comes along, views, and proceeds to legal completion.

Some view and make it obvious they want the place but don't offer.

Some seem to show no interest yet end up offering and proceed to legal completion.

Some spend hours at a viewng and buy -- or some don't buy.

Some spend 10 minutes at a viewing and buy -- or some don't buy.

It's a ruddy nightmare and I can understand the all round stress:eek:

Yeah, wierd isnt it. The last lot who offered seemed the least interested of all my viewers, they didnt even walk up the garden, and were really quick looking around, I asked if they wanted another look, and they said no.
Others have been here hours and hours, boring me to pieces with a million questions, negotiating over furniture, never to be seen or heard of again (his has happened a few times)
    Nowt as wierd as folk!
