Well after a week of nothing I seem to have 3 viewings booked for the next week. This will take my total to 22 viewings - I think I am seriously open to any offer at the moment. I can't believe that no one has made one offer yet and it is quite demotivating after 4 weeks on the market. Lets just hope that one of these three will make my week....

Well strangely, our viewings are now ‘on the up’ just when I thought everyone had gone into hibernation until next year.

To date three have got as far as offering, with two falling out due to mortgage ‘problems’. We’ve had no silly offers. The one still in the frame is at asking price, but no news after ten days.

I heard on the radio today that there are roughly 5 people to 1 house (making offers that is) as demand outstrips supply. I hope you all are finding this now. I found it so when people were looking at my house. The only difference is that not all of them were proceedable at the time.

When I was looking for something, I contacted an agent who'd shown me a house a couple of weeks before and who lives in the same city as me and also commutes to work (in the town where I am moving to). the idea being that he knew the sort of thing I was looking for. He mentioned about a house about to come on the market. I said I wanted to be the first to see it and it was a good job I did. I made an offer which was accepted (at the asking price) but other viewings had been booked in meanwhile.

Just doing all the paperwork side now, Hope to be in before Christmas if we are lucky.

Well I've had diddly squat since my buyers pulled out 3 weeks ago. Spoke the EA about reducing the price to generate some interest and she's said no way. The EA are on a fixed fee so no incentive there. They tell me there simply aren't buyers now and I missed the September / october interest due to mine being 'sold'.

Got to wait till January now for the 'pre Easter move' mentality.

    Here's mine - comments appreciated.

Yep I managed to get the EA to redo the brochure so the wheely bin isn't on the driveway but still shows on Rightmove. Hadn't noticed the loo seat TBH - I asked for a valuation and the EA went and took photos before I had signed up so I was a little unprepared.

The house was sold in 6 days beginning sept but they pulled out on Homebuyers survey. I've missed the last flurry for this year I think. The EA tells me nothing is selling at the moment and to wait until January.

Yes it is reasonably priced for the area.

well, we've picked up a bit. but only a bit.

miss firsttimebuyer who loved our house and the price is too scared to actually move or buy  oh well.

mrs must-see-it-now didnt turn up to other viewings she'd booked so i'm super pleased i didnt rush home from holiday to let her in! and she's not contacted the agent since. perhaps she went under a buss and is in a coma? or perhaps she's a time waister?

we had new viewers at the wknd. they were very very posative. almost too posative, if you know what i mean. then it turned out they were expecting us to buy thier house. um? we knew nothing of this. and we are only trying to sell because we've seen the Ideal House. The agents know this. very very odd indeed.

    good luck everyone else!
