thats the most annoying thing when the one over taking is going half a mile per hour faster than the other.
  • I don't worry about them. I simply cannot be bothered with their moronic attitude, and pass them up the inside. Yes it's naughty, but !!!! them.

It's all down to the bad converstion of German cars to right hand drive. The ecu still thinks the're in lane 1.

I don't really understand the issue with this. Why can't you just go in the outside line and overtake them? Thats what it's there for after all.

Because there might be someone else in the outside lane already, meaning that you have to slow down and wait for a gap, or undertake. A 3-lane carriageway is designed for 3 lanes of traffic, not 2 when an inattentive and uneducated driver decides to stay in lane 2.
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.

Thats how accidents are caused becasue of pratts like you undertaking

yes i drive an hgv and i too comdome the blocking of the carriageway by wagons overtaking neck and neck.
Under taking is very dangerous as if you are in the blind spot you could end up DEAD! And for what?
To be a few seconds quicker!!

i partially agree with this but not fully, i beleive the people who cause the most accidents are the hesitants i.e;-
    • people who stop at a round about then see if traffic is coming, not just flowing with traffic
    • people who wait till the traffic light has been green for 5 seconds before engaging first gear
    • people who brake suddenly without reason, normally because they have extremely poor senses of perception
    • people who dont turn right or enter a roun about/junction because there is a car approaching 2 miles away at 5mph :mad::mad::mad:
in response to poor driving practices i believe the following rules apply;-
    • micra drivers slow, hesitant, dilly dally
    • audi drivers - the new arrogant BMW driver for the next generation, never more than 6" away
    • zafira/piccaso drivers - poor parkers, never know what lane to use and have a sense of arrogance
    • suburu drivers - desperate for attention
i could continue but fear upsetting 1/2 the forum! ;)

i think all drivers that have not got a HGVor PCV licence with +E,should have to take a test to tow any think and that includes every one thats got a licence with any other class on,so basicly any one thats has not got C+E or D+E on there licence, and take the grandfather rights off all Category B drivers unless the above applys

oops you will not like that will you put it's my opion and i see how some fools drive with trailers/caravans on in summer, next we will see the trailer/caravan lot using lane 3 :eek:already seen that this year
there or their, one day i might us the right one ,until then tuff

The people who get my blood boiling are the ones who seem to not bother looking behind them when joining the motorway... assume that because the on-slip is going, there will automatically be a gap in traffic for them to slide in to when they bother to actually join.

No, accidents are caused by poor observation and over-confidence. I possess neither of those flaws, and you will usually find me on the inside lane of a motorway.

I wonder, how many HGV drivers would be able to safely stop without hitting the vehicle in front, on a motorway? I'm guessing you're not one of the 1% that would be able to do that.
