That sounds like a right nightmare. if she can't even be bothered to get on contact with you then don't see why you should make the effort.

Hi Wendz, You make a very good point!! The thing is that I genuinely think that they're just bit crap with but that they're hearts are in the right place! But considering I text her yesterday & she still hasn't contacted me ... she works away a lot & does long hours but only 5 days week! Fair enough if we can't meet up at the moment but she's got a bl**dy phone!! Then having said that she got herself into a bit of money trouble too & has a pay as you go phone & has a small budget for it monthly!! But there's always Facebook!!!!

Nope human. I think we all like having an "out" for stuff we genuinely just don't want to do.

I was really excited when it was meant to be in this country but the whole thing just seems like a big fat hassle!

Even the dress is strapless so I have to make sure that I don't get tan lines but I tan really quickly so it would be a pain! OK that's a rubbish reason not to go!! :p

I have a 17 hour day today!! Working in office until 16:30 & then straight to ward for twilight shift until midnight!! LB will be up in Derby tonight for work which is pants but at least I wouldn't be with him even if I didn't work! I'll get paid more after 20:00 as well as it will be the night rate :T

Got tomorrow off & only got two short shifts over the weekend as it's hotel night on Saturday :D

Sold two more bits on ebay which I'll have to sort out tomorrow. Then I think I only have one item on ebay!! Must do that tomorrow! The house needs a really good clean too!

Doesn't make you bad, but the fact that you're coming up with excuses not to go should tell you it's your money, and you shouldn't feel guilted into going. Just say you can't afford it, simple. If she doesn't come to your wedding (presuming its in this country) then I'm sorry but thats just petty, and she wasn't a friend to begin with.

It would be abroad (hopefully) so I couldn't blame her!

Just got home from work - that let me go a bit early & I got a free dinner again! :D Ward was really busy to start with as there was a very disruptive patient so didn't get to talk to LB until about 8.30pm & it feels weird not to talk to him before I go to sleep!

Seriously considering staying up & doing stuff ... I have a really strong urge to cook tomato sauce ... what's that about??!!

Boo to the sky man! But big well done on the Mortgage OP!! :T:A Just think of all those lovely mortgage-free days getting closer and closer!!

Taking the cash out sounds like a good idea! i've kept threatening to do that with my weekly "spend" allowance - but never quite get round to it! ;)

Well done on the interview! :T it's certainly been an eventful week for you - but you've been working so hard at it, so it's well deserved! :D

    xx

Hi CWM.com :hello: & a very belated thanks for this post! I've only just seen it - think I was posting at the same time!! I can't wait to start on the mortgage properly! Interview is less than a week now!! xx

Like the plan raini, it means you can see exactly what needs done - me, I have been cleaning the kitchen for the last week and only have the light shade to clean and the floor and have I done it - have I h*ll! I can't help but be lazy in this heat but maybe it will cool down (what an excuse eh)!

Hope you make your decision about the wedding and remember it is YOUR decision,, do what will make you happier!
